What is that?

A yellow pill was thrown to the 2 white cats, then a cloud of yellow gas exploded right in front of them. The cats that were about to pounce on Fang Yun suddenly twitch, they use their paws to cover their nose but it seems to not help in any way whatsoever.

*cough* *cough*

"Big sis hurry up and cover your nose, that is my elder brother's yellow playful pills. He said it's so stinky that any animal that has a nose will instantly try to cover its sense of smell"

The lady was coughing heavily from the acrid odor that fills the air, only after hearing Fang Yun words did she cover her nose with a red cloth. She glared at Fang Yun "You monster!!! why didn't you warn me first? Aiya, when I get back you better come bathing with"

Fang Yun looked at his big sister's chest and nodded mischievously

They both run across the two cats to find two separate paths in front of them. The path to the left was dark and gloomy without even a speck of light, while the path on the right is still dimly lit with the fluorescent moss.

"Big sis, we should go to the left side my gut is telling me there is something in there, the other path should be an exit"

"Brat how can I trust your gut? based on what?"

Fang Yun shrugged his shoulders and said "Big bro said I'm his lucky star, so I believe in my luck even more than myself big sis hehehe"

A weary sigh came out of the lady "Fine, we survive the ambush because of you, I might as well give you my life too hahaha"

With that being settled they walk through a dark and windy path, the lady brought out a white stone, light was being emitted from it shining the path ahead of them.

*drip* *splash*

"Eeeeee? What is that sound? It's like someone just jumps into a pool of water"

After walking for around an hour, they stumble upon a clear pool. At the bottom of the pool lies an old decapitated wooden box. The box emitted an ancient aura that gives a feeling of mystery to whoever sees it.

Fang Yun looked at his surroundings attentively and found that there are worn out carvings around the lake. The first carving depicts a picture of a man sitting crossed leg on a mountain, his posture looks calm and tranquil. The second carving illustrates people worshiping an object on an altar, that object looks spherical similar to a medicinal pill. The last carving shows a man holding a pill and jumping down a cliff, on top of the cliffs were people holding weapons, they seem to be chasing the man or more precisely the spherical object in his hand.

"Wahh, what odd carvings Fang Yun I bet the thing inside that box could be that spherical object" The lady was about to reach the water, when Fang Yun shouted and grabbed her hand.

"Wait big sis I have a bad feeling about this pond, it feels like the water is alive think about it didn't we hear the sound of water splashing but the only thing we say is an old box that seems to be in this place for who knows how long"

The lady realized what was going on, and a look of gratitude flashed through her eyes when she looked at Fang Yun.

"Thank you"

"Hahaha big sister Nian you took good care of me so it is only right that I do the same"

Fang Yun grabbed a rock and threw it to the water, the rock drowned to the bottom. Before it reached the bottom the rock was corroded and then disappeared.

Gasp echoes out through the cave, an ugly expression appears on them. They look at the water in horror. After looking at the lake for sometime Fang Yun suddenly thought of something.

"Haha I got a box from someone let's open it sister"

A brown box was laid on the floor, to the left side was Fang Yun to the right side was the lady. Fang Yun slowly stretched his hands to the box, a gulp could be heard as his hands approached the box.

*Creak*

A white paper that looks like a cross was inside the box, under the white paper is a small block of wood with words written on it.

"Hahaha luck is really my strong suit, it's a barrier talisman"

"Brat where did you get this from? Only the great families from the two Palace can have this kind of treasure, who would give it to a kid like you?"

"Well with my cute face and great luck anybody would want me to be safe"

With out any hesitation Fang Yun gives the talisman to the lady, he was unable to activate it. His plan is to use the barrier to separate the water then jump in to grab the box

"Big sis activates the barrier, then I'll jump down and go get the box"

"Are you sure it's safe?"

"Don't worry I'm pretty lucky"

A sacred white light parted the water creating a small area where the box is untouched by even a drop of water. Fang Yun jumped down and slowly grabbed the ancient box, after grabbing it Fang Yun thought of something and put a red pill with golden lines in the box where the talisman was, and replaced the ancient box with the talisman box.

"Hahaha got it"

Suddenly the barrier started to shake, seeing the slight trembling Fang Yun quickly jump back and grabbed his big sister away.

"Big sis the cave is trembling, let's get out of here What a profit hahaha"

The lady face was pale white after holding the barrier up for only a few breaths of time, she felt like the water didn't only corrode the barrier but also a part of her soul and qi.

"Brat you better give me some medicine from that alchemist, or I'll bite you to death. You made me use all of my qi"

"I'm a cripple so I don't understand, but I can ask big bro after showing him this box hehehe"

After they left the cave both of th went straight to the bath house to watch themselves after all, the stench of the yellow pill was still stuck on them.

"Ah a bath is really a gift from the heavens, hey brat what happen to the white cats, why didn't they keep chasing us"

"Well, even I don't know. Big sis why is your chest so big?" Fang Yun look at to mounds that were erected in front of the lady's chest.

"Shut up what does a young boy like you need to know something like this"

After both of them finished bathing Fang Yun said goodbye to the lady and went back to the cottage beside the river. After walking in the room he saw his elder brother sleeping beside a furnace.

"Big bro I got a gift for you"

Fang Yun voice rouse the alchemist awake "No no I didn't ste- oh Fang Yun what did you say?"

"I got this ancient looking box from some cave on the mountain"

The alchemist was smiling at first, but then we he saw the box in Fang Yun's hands his eyes almost popped out of his head, his body was trembling and pointed at Fang Yun and said

"Th-Tha-That is the aura of an Ancient meridian forging Pill, where di-did you sa-say you got that"
