This sudden voice ringing out caught both Maria and David off guard.

Especially since neither of them had been expecting anyone to come in since the closed sign was up.

When they looked at that person, they both revealed surprised looks, but one person's surprise was greater than the other.

David recognized who this person was with a single look and he was completely dumbfounded…

That was because this was a person that he never dreamed that he would be able to meet.

It was the Thunder God, Alexander Winston!

The famous S Ranker who had recently become more famous because of his split from the royal family of England!

This was a face that had been on the news constantly over the past period, so even if he didn't want to know, even if he lived under a rock, he would still recognize him.

But what was this person doing in a simple cafe like this and why did he act like he knew this simple cafe's owner?

David had thought that this cafe's owner was a normal person like him and he even thought that his spring was coming…After all, a young cafe owner picking up a man who was down on his luck like him…that was just like the plot of a romance novel.

But now, it seemed like this normal cafe's owner didn't see that normal after all.

Maria was surprised to see Alexander bursting into the store, but then she said, "It's fine, it's fine, nothing's wrong. I found this person down on his luck in the park and I brought him here for some soup. Nothing happened."

Alexander narrowed his eyes to look at David who immediately felt a chill run down his spine.

As expected of a S Ranker, the aura that he had was anything but normal.

David almost felt like he was being smothered by a mountain when Alexander glared at him like this.

Luckily for him, Maria quickly saved him by pushing Alexander so that he couldn't glare at him anymore.

When he was pushed away like this, Alexander didn't dare resist at all…not to mention that he couldn't resist even if he wanted to.

When in front of Maria, he had no choice but to follow just like every other S Ranker…

Alexander just quickly said with a smile, "Maria, I was just worried about you. You should know that…"

Before he could finish, there was another voice that suddenly rang out, "Maria, are you alright?"

This voice was much colder than Alexander's.

At the same time, the door burst open and a blue haired figure came in.

When he saw Maria and Alexander standing there in the corner, there were icicles that were immediately gathered in the air with a wave of his hand. At the same time, there was a chill that immediately hit Alexander in the face that felt like he was being cut by blades of ice.

In a cold voice, Alexei asked, "Do you have any last words you disgusting stalker?"

Alexander however wasn't scared by him at all as lightning suddenly started flickering around him. He looked right back at Alexei like he wasn't going to back down and even revealed a smile as if he was about to fight him.

However, before either of them could do a thing, Maria suddenly came in between them and raised her hands as she said, "Enough! Stop making a mess in my store or I'll ban you both!"

When they heard this, they immediately stopped using their abilities.

Almost instantly, the icicles and the lightning dissipated into nothing and both of them started complaining about each other to Maria, but she wasn't willing to listen to any of it.

On the side, David just stood there with a stunned look on his face as he watched how she handled these S Rankers…

These were people that he could only dream of meeting, people that were his idols, but now that they were in front of him, looking afraid of this normal looking girl, he couldn't help feeling that it was all a bit strange.

It shattered the image of S Rankers that he had once had…

But of course, it didn't stop there.

If one S Ranker received the report about a strange person in Maria's cafe, all the S Rankers would receive the same report. That was because they all shared a single network that was based around Maria's cafe.

For these S Rankers, the most important thing was Maria's safety, so they had spared no expense.

Not long after Alexei came in, the most annoying one came.

"Big sister! Are you alright!?"

Guang Liang burst forward in a burst of light and immediately stood in front of Maria with his hands up. The light energy around him created a barrier that instantly surrounded Maria, just in case anything happened.

This barrier of light was actually his ultimate technique that he could only use once a day, but when it came to Maria, he used it without any hesitation.

Maria gave a sigh before with a single wave of her hand, she shattered that barrier of light to hit Guang Liang on the back of her head. Then she said with another sigh, "Ah Guang, calm down. Nothing happened, so stop overreacting."

But Guang Liang wouldn't calm down as he looked her up and down, from head to toe.

Only after making sure that there wasn't a single scratch on her did he finally calm down.

Then he glared at Alexander and said, "I received a report that there was a strange man that came into the store with you. What did this deviant do to you?"

A vein popped out on Alexander's forehead as he pointed back at Guang Liang and he said, "Who are you calling a deviant? I'll have you know that I was the first one here to save Maria!"

Guang Liang gave a cold snort and said, "Save? Don't you mean that you're the one that she needs saving from?"

Alexander pointed his finger in his face again as he said, "You!"

But Maria quickly stopped them from fighting.

Even with her own brother, she didn't hesitate to ban him from the cafe, so he instantly fell silent.

However, the number of S Rankers that came to the store didn't stop there.

More and more of these world famous S Rankers arrived in Maria's store one after another, all asking about Maria's safety. One by one, she calmed them all down until the last one finally arrived.

Once they were all settled, she told them what happened.

As they listened to the story, they all couldn't help glaring at David who was just timidly sitting there in a corner.

As their eyes fell onto him, he could feel the pressure that came from each one of them.

They didn't hold back their jealousy at all and just crushed him with the natural pressure that they exuded.

But Maria quickly warned them of this and they just as quickly pulled back their pressure.

If it was Maria, they didn't dare delay at all.

After she finished with the story, Maria asked, "Do you get it now? Nothing is wrong."

As she finished, she couldn't help giving a sigh thinking about all the trouble that this must have caused.

She was certain that many of them had abandoned their work just to come here and as the cause of it, she couldn't help feeling guilty.

But she was right, it had created a big mess.

After all, if all of these S Rankers suddenly disappeared at the same time, it would naturally make one think that something terrible would happen. At the same time, they had dropped all of their work, dumping the work that they had been doing on their subordinates, which had created a bunch of messes.

Seeing all of these S Rankers suddenly run to Hunter City, the Hunter Organization even thought that there was another sudden dungeon outbreak, so they had gone on high alert.

It was just too bad that nothing happened in the end…

But the money to go on high alert was still wasted, which cost them around a hundred million.

After all, they were preparing for the worst case scenario, so they had brought out all the most powerful weapons and tools…

Not to mention the loss that was caused to the world economy…

It could be considered a disaster, but the S Rankers didn't care.

After they finished hearing the story, all of the S Rankers started paying attention to David, but this time they didn't put pressure on him. They were seriously looking him over, as if they were trying to find something.

David couldn't help feeling awkward as he was being stared at like this and he couldn't help asking, "Is there something wrong?"

One of the S Rankers asked, "You've already had Maria's food, right?"

David was confused why he would be asked this kind of question, but he still gave an honest nod.

The S Rankers still continued looking him over before another S Ranker asked, "You don't feel any different?"

David looked even more confused as he asked, "Why would I…"

Before he could finish, there was a sudden burning feeling that came from deep inside of him that made him let out a surprised cry. But that burning feeling only lasted a single second before disappearing.

Then he looked down at his hands as he tried to figure out what had just happened.

However, for the S Rankers, they all revealed excited looks as they started using their appraisal skills on him.

It didn't take long for them to find what they were looking for and when they did, their eyes couldn't help lighting up.

David couldn't help feeling that something was off, so he called out his own status to see what had happened. But when he saw his status, his chin couldn't help dropping down.

That was because of the F Ranked skill that he was expecting to see, he saw that it had been replaced with a S Ranked skill.
