Chapter 12: Who Are You Riding With?

Carley

"This is weird," Storm mutters to me as he helps me clear the table.

"Not really," I say grabbing a rag to wash the table. "The normalcy is nice."

Storm sighs, "If you want normal I can have JT and Jen join us for meals."

"Storm, that's what I..."

"So who riding with this morning, babe?" Arson asks interrupting our hushed conversation while he put the dishes Jase hands him into the washing machine. "I bought my bike."

Storm scoffs in disgust, "Of course, he rides a motorcycle."

Arson chuckles instead of taking offense to his tone. " Yeah, well, it's all I got since Weston wrecked my car. I haven't found the time to work on rebuilding her yet."

Thunder claps, and the sound of rainfall on the tin roof and window proceeds.

Arson's smile fades away and his mouth hangs open in shock.

Jase smirks. "Didn't check the weather this morning. Did you Ashley?" Jase taunts Arson.

I let out a snort and giggle. Since middle school, whenever Arson would do something idiotic we would tease him by calling him by his hated middle name. For example, him not checking the weather this morning to find that there will be thunderstorms throughout the day.

"Damn," Arson sighs. "Guess I'm riding with you guys then."

"You can move your bike into the garage for now," I suggest to him.

"Carley doesn't have to ride with one of you. She can ride with me," Storm rumbles.

All humor is gone at his words. 'I'm going to need to diffuse this situation before it gets worse.'

"Thank you for the offer Storm, but I already decided to ride with Jase since he stayed the night," I say quickly.

Storm gives me a nob before turning away to hide the wounded look in his eyes. I'm going to have a conversation with my friend later.

I turn back to my boys to find Jase and Arson standing in a now spotless kitchen.

Jase has a smug look on his face while Arson looks guilty somehow.

I walk over to Arson. "Go bring your bike in so we can leave," I say smacking him on that nice bubble butt of his.

As I move to walk away, he grabs my arm, yanking me into the hard planes of his large muscular body. "You didn't think I'd let you get away with spanking my ass and then leaving, did you?" He purrs with a liquid heat in his golden gaze."

He surprises me by moving the collar on my shirt aside, bending his head down to suck on my collarbone. My whole-body shivers as I break apart in his arms.

"There you go, babe. Something to keep you occupied all day long," he rasps then walks out the backdoor, leaving me dumbfounded.

'How dare he make me orgasm then walk away!'

I'm lost in my thoughts, not having noticed Arson's return until he holds out an umbrella he retrieved from the garage out to me. I blink up at him trying to remember what it was I was supposed to be doing.

'Oh right, morning classes.'

"Ready you two?" Jase asks with my backpack slung over one shoulder while twirling his keys around his finger.

I take the umbrella from Arson telling Jase we are ready to leave.

The three of us walk under the umbrella out to the shop building where a gorgeous sleek black car with a red stripe down the center is waiting out of the weather.

I run a hand down the front hood in awe. "What is this car?" I ask not knowing awhile lot about only that I like the aesthetics of this one.

"It's an SSC Ultimate Aero. She goes from zero to twelve miles per hour in two-point-seven seconds," Jase says clicking the fob which brings the car roaring to life. He clicks in again and the butterfly doors rise to allow us entry.

I peer inside to find an all-black leather interior with red accents. I find myself not wanting to get in and soil the perfection of this car with my muddy rubber boots.

"How much did this cost you?" I breathe continuing to marvel at this gorgeous piece of machinery.

"I offered to rebuild him a car but noooooo, he had to have THIS one. She cost him a small fortune too, a lot more than it would have cost to let me rebuild one for him," Arson says climbing into the passenger seat.

The car is only a two-seater so where am I supposed to seat? That question is answered we Arson pulls me into his lap. I pull my boots off and set the folded umbrella down in the footwell, so I don't get dirty.

"The leather interior makes clean up a breeze, so don't worry about it, sweetheart," Jase chuckles from the driver's seat, hitting a button to close the doors.

"You have the best seat in the car, babe," Arson purrs in my ear. I wiggle my rear in retaliation to his words which causes him to groan as Jase drives out of the shop.

I watch Jase as he controls this beast with ease as if it's an extension of himself. I'm surprised he was able to buy something like this.

Growing Jase would get the clothes that Carson grew out of since Jase was the shortest of the group. Arson was the skinniest of the group too. Now both these men are completely different. Jase is taller than Arson now, however, Arson is the bulkiest with his broader shoulders and muscle mass. A swimmer's build versus a bodybuilder's build.

It's not long before we arrive at university then it's off to classes with my Chaos following me closely everywhere I go.
