She's Your Daughter

Lei Xi was shocked. What other daughter was she talking about?. Her only daughter he knows of is Lei Ai so what was she talking about?. Lei Xi looked at her with his face full of questions. Did she have another child besides Lei Ai?. If she did, then who is the father?. Lei Xi looked at Lin Xiu with contempt. Sensing his reaction, Lin Xiu turned to him.

"Don't bother asking me any questions at all because I don't have an obligation to answer you".

Was she joking?....she didn't have any obligation to answer him. Hearing this made him angry.

This woman was really getting on nerves but he calmed down when he thought bout his daughter.

"Your daughter wants to see you" Leo Xi said.

"Which daughter?" Lin Xiu asked. Lei looked at her like she was crazy.

"Lin Xiu stop acting crazy and.... "

"Mind the way you talk to me Lei Xi...." Lin Xiu said and faced the driver.

"Stop the car". The driver was confused. He didn't know wether to listen to her or not so he looked at his boss who told him to keep going.

"Lin Xiu I don't want to fight you... Leo Ai misses you very much.... she's always asking about you.....and you don't want to see her....Lin Xiu she's your daughter"

"No.... she's not my daughter.... she's yours and yours only". Lin Xiu said as she looked at him coldly.

"What happened to you?....why are you talking like this?....." Lei Xi asked. Lin Xiu looked away.

"Lei Xi....I don't want to talk to you anymore.....so tell your driver to stop the car".

"It's very late.... tell me where your address is and I'll drop you at home" Lei Xi suggested.

"Hmm... no thank you.... I'll rather walk till my legs get tired than to take your offer" Lin Xiu said refusing his offer.

"Why don't you trust me? " Lei Xi asked curiously.

"The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know....though we were married for a long time.... Leo Xi I don't know you.... so I don't trust you" Lin Xiu answered meeting his gaze. After hearing that, he told the driver to stop. Lin Xiu came down.

"Just wait here.... I'll send someone to come pick you up" Lei Xi said.

"Oh please Lei Xi.... don't act like you care.... we're past that already." Lin Xiu said as she shut the door angrily and walked away.

Lei Xi was devastated when he thought about what happened . He walked into his daughter's room and found her still awake.

"Lei Ai why are you doing?....you're supposed to be asleep"

"Daddy....look what I made" Lei Ai said as she gave him the bracelet she made.

"It's for mommy....I'll give it to her when she comes home" Lei Ai said excitedly.

Lei Xi looked at his daughter as sadness filled his eyes. He patted her head gently and hugged her tightly.
