"Andrea! what a surprise!" the Bubbly blonde woman at the post office greeted Andrea with enthusiasm, most of Radka's girls didn't really like Andrea, but She did.

"You better invite me to lunch, because I am so mad at you Peggy! how come you didn't come visit me at the hospital, I would've found solace in your company." Andrea said in a fake whiney tone, "Oh boy! I wanted to visit you so bad at the hospital! But I was afraid Madame wasn't gonna like the idea, I mean...look around you, her influence is showing." Peggy replied while slightly pointing at the other girls in the post office.

They were glaring daggers at Andrea, and Andrea knew he doesn't have much time to get something out of Radka's most infamous gossip girl, before those girls start bothering him.

So When he turned his attention back to Peggy, and he noticed that the blonde woman was throwing away a big donut box, he got curious.

While it's never unusual for a girl to buy a big box of tasty donuts for herself, when Andrea spotted the empty box, he had an unusual gut feeling about it, he thought that maybe just maybe, asking about it might lead him to what he wanted to know from the bubbly blonde woman.

Andrea's gut feeling wasn't unfounded, he has heard from Peggy herself not long ago that Rushil usually buys A big box of Donuts similar to that one, to Radka's girls as a thank you gesture when he can't cook them anything, and Andrea knows that while Peggy doesn't seem like it, she's very much the charitable type, the kind that you can easily snatch a favor from.

So Andrea asked her, "Did Rushil come by to see you?"

Surprised, "Oh goodness! how did ya know! you must be a wizard Andie! Rushil was here for me not long ago!" Peggy replied.

"I just noticed the Donut box in your trash can! I don't know why, but I remembered what you told me, about Rushil and the donuts?"

"Oh wow! you have a better memory than mine, Cogar!"

"Who needs a good memory when they're as beautiful as you are." Andrea said winking at her.

Peggy blushed and giggled, " Aww, you flatter me sweetie!"

"Hey what do you say to getting out of here, Are you still up for lunch? I'll pay this time! I'd like to talk to you without these downer-babies girls around." Andrea Asked hinting at the girls watching him.

"Of course I'm still up for lunch! Who can say no to food and to you, Handsome." Peggy replied winking.

...Few minutes later...

As they ate their lunch, "So even though you knew it was Lydia's cat and that you might get into trouble with Rakda, you still took care of the pet? that's very sweet of you Peggy!" Andrea said.

"I couldn't possibly turn down a helpless Rushil, that unlucky lover boy broke my heart when he explained to me the misunderstanding that happened!

Just because the girlie was blacklisted, Doesn't mean Lydia was actually bad, She was just misunderstood, the poor gal." Peggy replied pouting.

"You said she got blacklisted because Radka thought something was going on between her and Rushil, but like you said everyone knows that Rushil is a helpless lover boy, he loves Radka to death!" Andrea said.

"I know right! poor gal Lydia was just being friendly towards the Madame's Beau, but she ended up being blacklisted because The Madame was too jealous!

That's why I agreed to take her cat in, I've been accused of being a homewrecker before, I know how bad it can be.

Besides, Rushil told me that Lydia already has her own beau! apparently she's obsessed with a boy named Cyrus!" Peggy said giggling.

"Cyrus?...does he have like white dyed hair and a blind eye?" Andrea asked.

"Oh my GAwd! that's him! did you meet him?

I've seen him once here at the post office, he's actually really sweet! though he looks a bit intimidating at first, mysterious even!

He's the kinda guy that makes you wonder...!"

"Actually Peggy, I've met Him so I have an idea what Cyrus is all about, I was hoping you'd tell me more about Lydia, that's if I'm not bothering.

It's just that you're really a good storyteller and I would like you to tell me what's her deal!"

"Of course! however you know you have to bribe me a little for a good story!" Peggy said winking, "Oh Anything for my beautiful lady!" Andrea replied back smirking.

...Some time later...

"Lydia, what are you doing here?" Jin couldn't believe his eyes, Lydia was the last person he expected to be knocking on Radka's door.

Letting herself in, "Good afternoon Jin, You sound like you're almost unhappy to see me, well I can't say I'm surprised you'd react that way.

But I'm on work duty right now so we both have no choice, your future parents-in-law decided to replace Minnie... with me, which is not so understandable.

I am unfortunately...Very good at ending people's lives, more than protecting it actually." Lydia replied with an uninterested tone.

"You're kidding me Right? please tell me this is a joke."

"I wish it was a joke Jin... I'm in a tough spot myself, but it's not."

"Shit, seriously? why didn't they tell me about it?...*sighing* It must've been Rushil's Idea, he was so happy when Radka said it was okay to ask you... for help." Jin said nervously.

"Alright, what's the problem Jin? it's not just because I'm here, is it?" Lydia asked.

"It's not what, it's Who...And yeah, you being here might just worsen things." Jin replied.

Almost as if it was a sign, "Hello! I didn't know you were expecting more guests than me Jin!" Andrea in the most ridiculous pair of swimming shorts and no Shirt on, Came towards them with Nikolai by his side.

"You're joking..." Lydia mumbled surprised to see Andrea.

"Who's here Jin?" Nikolai asked.

"Screw my life...My parents should've just used protection." Lydia mumbled again disappointed, "Umm, This isn't a guest, it's actually Lydia...your parents sent her to replace Minnie." Jin explained.

Hearing that, Nikolai tensed-up "Lydia Is here?!" he asked.

Andrea noticed the shared worried look that everyone else had on their faces but himself, "Lydia? I feel like I heard your name before...Have we met before?" Andrea asked.

"I'm not sure where you could've heard my name, but The full name is Lydia Brooks.

Though you don't need to introduce yourself, Most of us girls know who you are, Mister Andreoli, lately The Madame has been informing all the girls in town about Nikolai and his situation.

We know everything, including who is his best friend and current manager, You Andrea." Lydia replied.

"Ah! I see, how impressive.

Well, nice to meet you Miss Lydia Brooks." Andrea said while extending his hand for a shake that Lydia accepted with a forced smile, "Same here." She replied.

Although both Andrea and Lydia were smiling as they shook hands, there was this awkward few seconds of silence between them, coupled with the two staring strangely at each other.

Nikolai was lucky to not see it, although he felt the rising tension, Jin however saw everything and within his guts, he had this strange idea that Andrea was planning something.

A gut feeling that grew stronger, when Lydia broke the handshake and the first thing Andrea did afterwards, was smirk at her and then glance at Jin.

...Few minutes later...

While Jin has taken Nikolai away for a private talk somewhere, Andrea and Lydia were there by the pool.

Lydia was the only girl by the pool while the other girls were in different places of the house, And because she stood by the door while he desperately hid from the sun under a parasol, "Hey! why don't you sit! you can still do your job sitting!" Andrea Asked.

Lydia didn't pay him any attention, so Andrea had to rephrase his words to grab it.

"So you're the infamous Lydia, i just remembered where I heard your name!" Andrea said.

"Really...where." Lydia said trying to sound as uninterested as possible.

"What matters is what I heard about you!"

"Such as what exactly?"

"How you screwed everybody else, for a boy crush, not that I don't relate to that.

I've done some questionable things myself, All in the name of love, of course heh." Andrea said almost giggling, "Did you get a girl to tell you about this?" Lydia asked, She already had an idea who the gossip girl might be, there was only few.

"It doesn't matter who told me, I'm interested in knowing why such a girl like you would even work for Radka.

You're too talented to work for her."

"That's an insult Radka wouldn't like to hear... What do you mean by those words?"

"I'm not insulting anyone, I'm just merely stating a fact... Lydia, You and I may not be so different after all." Andrea said.

"You talk as if you know me despite that it's our first meeting, and I'm pretty sure you and I are nothing alike." Lydia replied.

"I don't think so... we're both in love with people that don't love us back, I mean you're aware Cyrus doesn't love you, right?"

"So you know about him too... it has to be Peggy."

"Oh don't come for the naive girl, she just happened to be an easy target! though between you and Me, Peggy really knows how to tell a story!

And btw I happened to meet your boy toy during a dinner party that Nikolai held few days ago, you probably know about it.

And you probably know that your Cyrus is enamoured by another girl." Andrea said, Lydia flinched at his words but did her best to maintain her poker face.

"I don't know about your dinner party, but Cyrus liking another girl doesn't bother me.

Everyone is free to love whomever they want." Lydia replied, "Unlike you, you seem like you really dislike Jin." she added.

"Really? does it seem that way? I thought I was good at hiding it!" Andrea asked half smiling, "Please, this is Nikolai's parents house, And Nikolai and Jin are a couple spending a day at the pool at a relatives place.

it What universe would your presence here be explained? you're an intruder on this couple and I thought I knew what to expect coming to this house, but I didn't expect you'd be here." Lydia replied.

Scoffing, "Nikolai asked me to come himself! I'm not an intruder, you said it yourself! I'm his best friend." Andrea said proudly.

Sighing, "Listen pretty boy...I have enough on my plate, I don't need you to add to it.

Trust me, I am usually very calm, however even I can't help it when there's people like you, talented in getting on people's nerves.

So I suggest you end the chitchat, and enjoy hiding like a vampire under your parasol."

"Calling me pretty boy? it reminded me of that Bodyguard whom you're replacing! what was her name again?...Ah Minnie!" Andrea said smiling.

"Oh you mean the girl who mysteriously disappeared this morning? you look happy she's not here." Lydia replied, but she was surprised when Andrea seemed surprised.

"Disappeared? You're joking? Radka's favorite girl disappeared?" he asked.

"You didn't know? well then again...how would you know, unless you were involved.

We know Radka hates you, you're probably seeking revenge somehow." Lydia replied.

Angry, "I didn't know Minnie was MIA?! and of course I'm not involved! and Radka can hate me for now, but I don't hate her.

And even if I was dumb enough to get revenge on Radka, I wouldn't be this dumb to kidnap her favorite." Andrea replied back.

Before Lydia could open her mouth again, Jin and Nikolai came back to the pool.
