When Chen spoke, an aura of cold ruthlessness emanated from him. This sent a shiver down the spine of everyone present from Holy Grass City. 

Although Chen had always been a formidable presence, the oppressive aura he exuded tonight was unprecedented!

After a journey of trials, Chen's entire demeanor had undergone a dramatic transformation. Even Drake, standing before him, felt a sense of unfamiliarity.

"Continue with the meeting. I've only returned for a brief rest tonight and will set off for the central region by morning," Chen said.

"Leaving so soon after coming back?" Drake asked.

"Yes." Chen glanced at his mother, his eyes devoid of any emotion. To him, Drake and his mother were merely outsiders. 

The real Chen had died during his trials, a fact known only to Drake besides Chen himself.
