Promises

Virtya together with his group were lead to their seats before the Marquess of Whiten continued,

"You can sit." He said and the people in the shade sat down but the other denizens outside the shade didn't sit as they wanted to get a good view of what Virtya was going to say.

But before that, Grisha Federoff took the stage and told the denizens about his new role and what they should expect from him, the high priest followed and did the same.

However, it could be seen that the denizens loved the high priest more and they uttered his name in jubilation.

After the speech of the two, the Marquess of Whiten finally invited king Virtya to the podium.

"All should rise for the king!" The people stood up as king Virtya walked towards the lectern. The lectern was surrounded with a huge metal shield in that even if there was an acher in hiding, they would not be able to assassinate the king because of how impeccable this wall of metal protected the people behind it.

"He sucks! Let's hear about what he is going to talk about first before we give him a surprise "

"My hand is itching to throw these stones at that fool."

"King Virtya is a cowardly dick! How can he hide behind the presence of all these knights? If he is a man enough, he should come closer to us and speak to us one by one."

"How can a cowardly imbecile reign over us. I think we as the people of Azuhai have stood so low."

"Guys! I heard that king Virtya is a woman. How else do you think he is this cowardly. I think even a toddler can easily win a fight between them."

There was a commotion the moment Virtya showed his face but he didn't say a thing as he smiled at the people and remained silent for some minutes.

After his silence, the noise died down a little.

"The people of Azuhai, I know you are very much exited to see me. I can hear the noise of happiness and I am overwhelmed with your love. Very much thanks to you guys." Virtya paused for a moment as he awaited for the people to murmur between themselves because their noise had increased several folds after hearing what he had just said thus muffling his voice.

"The heck! Who is happier here! I will stab anyone who is smiling at him. Does Virtya think that we are exited as him! The heck! Maybe it is his dick that is exited!"

"Overwhelmed with your love my foot! Who loves this dick!"

"We want you dead to get our freedom, ok!"

Virtya continued,

"The people of Azuhai, I talked to the barons yesterday at the swearing ceremony and we agreed to employ a thousand workers who will aid us in refurbishing some of the buildings that belongs to the Whiddiff palace so that they could be turned to classrooms."

"Just as Mr Vlad has said, the child of the poor must go to school just like how the sons of the nobles do. I said all children must go to school, not just your sons..."

"Well, you might be asking yourselves as to where you will get the fees to pay for the tutor but I can assure you that the education will be free as Whiddiff palace will cater for all the expenses that are needed. But why should you go or take your child to school?"

"Ok! Getting your child to school is not useless as all the literate people will get a chance to be permanently employed to high positions by the Whiddiff palace."

"I want masons, carpenters, mechanics, doctors, more teachers, drivers, programmers, contactors and so on... But to get into any of these occupations, you have to be literate. Please my people, support me and we will transform this kingdom to greater heights. Who amongst you doesn't want to see Whiddiff city being transformed to Hong Kong? My people, I will build Shanghai, Dubai, Tokyo and New York in this kingdom. Just wait and see."
