Installing the turbine (4

It could be seen that Virtya didn't allow these roller chains to remain uncovered because the rotation motion that was going to be transferred through these chains was immense and if anyone mistakenly placed their hand on these chains, then, their hands might be grinded.

Virtya asked the workers to cover the chains with a steel cover after they greased the chains with the fats from pigs.

Clearly the fats from pigs were not reliable like grease made from inedible lard therefore, Virtya had to look for a reliable grease even if it was not from petrol as long as it was better than the fats from animals, Virtya would be happy and as of now, Virtya had already sent out a research party to look for something that could replace the use of fats for greasing and oiling the moving parts of these mechanisms.

By the end of this month, Virtya was expecting a fruitful reply from them.

"Your majesty, the turbine is already installed. We are awaiting for your order to release the brake so that the turbine could move." A foreman bowed before saying this to Virtya.

Virtya was silence at first before he nodded his head.

"It is still not yet time to activate the mechanism." Virtya answered. He first needed to check the progress of the cement plant and see where those supervisors had reached with the stages that he allocated for them to build.

"Let's go and check this out." Virtya said to Alexandre and Tanya.

On this day, Virtya was only wearing a shirt, a pair of trouser and boots. It was a hot day after all. The same cladding was worn by Alexandre and it was only Tanya who was wearing a black coat on top of her blouse, even Galina was not wearing a coat.

Together, they used the horses to move.

As Virtya's heavily guarded cohort moved, the workers stopped and moved aside to give them space.

Where Virtya passed, they lowered their heads in respect and allowed him to pass.

[Has Virtya finished installing that thing? I didn't even find the chance to see what it could do because I was posted elsewhere this morning.]

[If you see king Virtya moving out, then you should know that we are about to complete this project. I don't know what this project is for since we haven't been told anything yet.]

[Where is Virtya going? Ooh wait! He is going to our station where I was stationed to build that extra long tank. I don't know what it will be used for anyway but I can't miss the chance to see king Virtya praising our work. Quickly... Pull the wagon. I want us to reach there before king Virtya leaves.]

[It is about to go down. It is either today or tomorrow when we will know what this whole thing is for. If it is something good, then I don't know what to say but I am sure I will be rewarded handsomely for giving out this information.]

Under the gaze of every worker, Virtya reached at the wooden bridge that was being used by the workers to push the wagons to the west side of the river.

Unlike the makeshift bridge that was close to the waterfall, this one was at least wide enough to encourage the passage of those huge wagons that were carrying loads of goods, however, Virtya was not here to inspect this bridge, he crossed the bridge and reached the west side of the river.

However, reaching where the cement plant was situated was what was the problem because the terrain was not only muddy but it was also too steep and uneven because of erosion.

Virtya had to traverse through this unfavorable terrain to reach where the cement plant was and while here, he could see the structures that had been erected clearly.

Actually, everything in this cement plant was built of steel. Too much steel had been lost here but Virtya was not disappointed. He moved to inspect.
