I can see his highness talking with his general outside. I took a deep breath and exhale before walking closer towards him

"Your highness" I greeted him but I didn't receive any response back, I don't know if he is acting deaf or he really didn't hear me. He continued talking with his armies. Some of them glanced at my direction, who cares. I just have to endured this scene

I stand on the side waiting for him to finish talking with his armies. I guess something urgent came up on the borderline that's why he is instructing them to keep on eye there more

I really don't have any knowledge about this kind of things. Nevertheless it's not like I'll be entangled with him. I won't be seeing any of these anymore and just live peacefully away from here

We arrived in small cottage in the garden and sat there. He sat across to me while his arms were crossed waiting for me to speak up. He really hated my guts huh

"I apologize for making you uncomfortable for coming here without any notice. I bet your highness received the letter I wrote to you—" before I could finished my sentence he cut me off

"I burn it. Its annoying receiving letter coming from you" he hissed

Oh...I chuckled. I never expected that he would burn it, aside from throwing in the trash

"What's funny?" He asked

I shake my head "nothing, no wonder you didn't know what my reason for coming here...you didn't even read before burning it"

"Can you please tell me what's this all about and don't waste my time. I'm still meeting Diane" he said that so casually

I sighed heavily and stared at him in the eye "Your highness, since you burn my letter, if you only didn't burn that then you now know why I came here. I was very expecting you that you would response to...such a waste of ink. I won't waste my time anymore. I came here to tell you that I want to call off the engagement"

His brows furrowed "did you suddenly hit your head going here?"

"I'm very well okay, Your highness. I came here to hear your answer since you didn't even give a glimpsed of what's written on my letter. You told me that you don't want me to waste your time right?" This is really troublesome. If only he reads my letter then I won't bothered myself coming here

Plus what's with his reaction as if he couldn't believe i called off the engagement. Maybe he was celebrating in his inner side

"If this is one of your trick to make my attention focus on you. Cut the crap and leave" he said irritatedly

"You might be misunderstood me, Your highness. I wouldn't pull such a lame excuses like this to get your attention. Don't you think this is my thing to pull lame tricks like this? I wouldn't think so, rather I would create a scene and ruin your reputation so that you could give me an little peny of your attention....however I'm not that plain stupid, theres a lot of men out there wants me. I won't waste my time in this stupid trick you say" I paused

"And besides were only marrying because of our fathers connection, right? You don't have to worry, breaking off the engagement won't ruin your reputation and the connection between your father and mine. I absolutely assure you that, besides don't you think it will also benefits you? You can marry someone you like rather than staying in marriage that will make both of us miserable" did I said too much. His eyes looked at me in bewildered

"You came up in those conclusion? How—" before he could finished talking

"It's fine if you couldn't give me an answer today, I'll just wait for your response in letter. Then I'll be going" I said. I was about to stood up when he grabbed my wrist

"You're going to left just like that?!" A mixed of anger and disbelief were in his eyes

"I understand you might been in shocked about this decision, however was it your fault for not reading my letter ahead of time? And you told me earlier that, you don't want me to waste your time. I already said what's my reason for coming here, then it's about for me to leave" I took off my wrist to his and leave him standing there

Will he agreed to my propose? Even though it will benefits him by marrying someone he truly loves like Diane. Marriage was also the best way for his revenge to get back at me, after what I have done to Diane. Making the female lead suffer, then surely he won't let me off easily

Should I just runaway? Then where am I going to stay? I don't even have enough money on me. Then I'll just sell my clothes and jewelry, with that I could earn money slowly
