3 months later

It had been a total of 3 blissful months since the fire 'accident' and interrogation and James had been living unrestricted and as happy as he could ever be. He finally got all that was left of the financial inheritance his parents left him, used it to purchase the warehouse he used for tests, sold the car he had in the black market for a pretty good sum of money that he used to renovate and furnish the warehouse into a livable place for himself, made a basement that was only assessable to him to keep the highly valuable items and beings he brought to the real world, then he got into the same college as a few of his friends and bullies, then he bought a car to avoid the suspicions if he pulled out a super expensive, never to be seen cars or cars that we're just too high tier to be of this millennia.

Though he lived alone for the first few weeks after he remodeled the house, it became quite lonely and boring for him which caused James to invite his friend and his girlfriend to live with him for as long as they wanted.

This also came with a few hiccups but they weren't too difficult to sort out. The only major issue had to deal with was the extra space that led up to the underground vault, which was turned into a workshop for soldering while hiding the vault door in plain sight. While he didn't have enough money for some security, he instead farmed a few miscreations, Gengars, Weviles, and Murkrow making it a total of twenty that were grouped into pairs of two; one ghost and one dark type each, then they were sent out to protect the house and explore too.

James cracked a smile when he remembered the first time he summoned the first ghost and dark types from their Poke balls. When he first released Gengar he felt an extreme sense of dread and suffocating pressure of death when it suddenly disappeared and was replaced by the sound of a chuckling Gengar The Gengar looked nothing like the game and anime, it was a little furrier with a kind of dark grey instead of the usual purple and the eyes were a crystal blue instead of the normal red, safe to say that he was scared for his life. The next thirty minutes were spent by the Gengar apologizing to James for almost giving him a heart attack, but after he gathered enough courage to forgive the Pokemon, he thought out the first dark type.

The feeling was a bit similar but was more of an endless abyss of darkness than the feeling of death breathing down your neck. The effect was lesser which he chalked up to being the first person to be exposed to any type of Pokemon energy, and he suspects or would become lesser as time went by.

Back to the present; James was currently sitting on the roof of his home while holding a total of twelve yellow power rings in a bag and staring into the sky. His friend had gone out with his girlfriend which allowed him to carry out this experiment Currently he mentally commanded a ring to float in front of him. "Okay, the possibility of this going wrong is 60 to 70 percent but it's still worth the risk cuz It's not gonna be traced back to me in any way so... Go forth and find people worthy of wielding the power of fear, let them protect the earth from the known and unknown and from the people that harm others and most of all find more life in the cosmos" he said as he watched the rings fly off into different directions of the globe but only four rings caught his attention by flying upwards into the starry sky leaving a dumbfounded James starting upwards. "well fuck, that's likely gonna come back and bite me in the ass, but it'll be a while" he murmured before shrugging and walking back inside 'maybe I should let some Pokemon go to the wild and mess with the few campers here or probably just spread them worldwide that'll probably cause a frenzy but it'll be worth it' he thought before smirking and closing the roof door.
