BLOOD LUST

Micky was starry eyed as he watched his father train, doing muscle ups, flares, bicycle crunches and more then finally, abdominal conditioning with his trainer and Micky was fascinated by how effortlessly and painlessly Curtis took the liver and belly shots with full force, then left.

He also did the same exercises, in the same sequence, first three sit ups, then half a pull up, almost four tricycle crunches as they looked nothing like the original, and finally, the muscle ups, but he ended up swinging on the bar and hanging upside down for fun.

He looked at his sucked in belly and was proud of the effects, after five minutes of sedentary... amateurish exercises then tried to final test.

"Nicky, Nicky, Nicky!"He yelled.

He had already slid away because he forgot to stop producing water beneath his feet and her eyes lifted from her phone screen to see him crash, then she rolled her eyes and looked back till he ran to her then raised his shirt and said,"Hit me in the belly."

"What?"

"I've been working out for a few hours but it's felt like forever and..."

"Six minutes and forty two seconds, but two minutes and thirteen seconds if you only count the time you were actually ' working out '."She said.

"Yeah, well I'm stronger now, so..."

"I don't think that's how it works."

"Come on, please, if you do, I won't ever bother you again."

"I don't need to look into the future to know you can't keep that promise."

"Then what could I do so you'd do it?"

"Nothing, I'm not going to do it."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"Breathe on my face one more time and I'll kick you back to the age of the dinosaurs."

"Cool!"

"Aye yay yay."

"Please?!"

She then placed her noise cancelling headphones on and he angrily folded his arms, then grinned.

He yanked one of her long and natural braids then she screamed and punched him and he squealed and fell backwards then said amidst pain,"I said in the belly not the giblets."

"Creep!"She yelled before storming off.

He lay on his back, moaning and groaning till Curtis came over and squatted by him, asking what was wrong.

"Oh I'll never have kids again!"

"Micky, what happened?"Curtis asked again.

"Find me a wife and tell her...I'm sorry."Micky pleaded.

"Micky..."Curtis said, more concerned now.

"I saw you training, then saw that guy punch you in the abs but you felt nothing, so I thought if I got abs like that, I could do the same, so I trained, for like ever, then I asked Nicky to punch me too, but she missed..."

"No I didn't."Nicky appeared to say.

"Okay, maybe she didn't, but I know she had no intention of hurting me."

"...yeah, you take it that way."Nicky said.

"Micky..."Curtis began,"...I had to go through a lot of training in order to get there, like years of training, besides your light could easily do that for you and more, you just have to be patient."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Curtis lay besides him then Micky hugged him as a portal opened, showing the Mount Fuji in Japan, and at that moment, all the pain just vanished...after Nicky unwillingly reversed time on him...on Alexa's command.

That night, Alexa stirred on the bed and turned to smile at her loving husband, but he wasn't there.

She called for him with no response, just as she wondered where he'd be in the middle of the night, she heard someone coughing in their bathroom.

She went to check it out only to see Curtis vomiting into the water closet.

She ran to him but he said she should stay away, obedient and submissive as she was, she said no and asked what was wrong but he said he was fine.

"You don't look fine..."

"I said leave! Please..."

She took two steps back then slowly closed the door and was about to leave when she hesitated then ripped open the door to see him, coughing out blood then she ran to his side and hugged him with tears in her eyes.

He looked at her, first tenderly, then lustfully, but then squeezed his eyes closed and pushed away some of the hair on his neck and Alexa gasped...

"Felix!"Alexa yelled.

"Oh sweetie, that's how I like it."I said in a coarse voice.

She shook me by the neck as I was wearing no shirt then yelled for me to wake up and when my water vision was back to its normal range, I wiped my eyes and asked what was wrong, then Alexa said with tears welling up in her eyes,"Curtis has been bitten by a vampire and I think he's turning into one!"

"Wait, the mark's still there?"I asked.

"You knew?!"She yelled, slightly intimidating me.

"Don't worry, it's okay, Jessie handled it."

"Then why is he coughing out blood on the floor and cutting his own gums by the growing fangs?!"She yelled.

"Wait, what?!"I said, getting up.

I got off the bed and in an instant, was in my Monster Hunter uniform then followed her to see Curtis, barely conscious on the floor, with blood dripping down his already rosy lips.

I picked him up between my arms then closed my eyes for a split second, then everyone apart from the children woke up and rushed to the living room, where I took him to with Alexa.

I placed him on the couch then Lilith went on her knees, already feeling his pain it made her a little dizzy, but made her even worse as she placed her hands over his belly, then she screamed and fell over.

Anneliese ran to her side, but she was unconscious and we didn't wake her up because we figured she needed the rest.

Apollo also went forward and took a deep breath then did the same, his eyes began to glow white and blue as the colour began to flow back into Curtis's face, but Apollo opened his eyes and shook his head, Curtis was in a coma...

Apollo stood up then said,"He needs a special concoction that even my light can't reveal, only then will he be saved."

Indigo went to the bathroom to at least make himself useful and clean up the mess, when Curtis's blood seemed enticing to him for some reason.

He didn't know why his arm stretched to tap a drop then place it on his tongue and at that moment, he felt a surge of energy as his gem glowed blood red, then turned back to its clear colour.

The blood immediately started flowing together into a perfectly spherical drop, then diffused into the air until invisible to all but Indigo, then flowed through the door, down the stairs and into Curtis's open lips as his blood started flowing back, then the wound healed as Curtis sprang back up to life with a gasp.

Alexa hugged him and he hugged her back as she cried in his arms and we had no idea what had just happened, but Indigo walked down the stairs with a strange expression on his face, I had a feeling it had something to do with him, but let it go as I didn't read minds nearly as often as I used to.
