Vampires' Dominance

The night was really cold, and Sebastian cradled Eve in his hands as they lay on the furry mat inside the tent. The wind hollered harshly outside throughout the night.

By the break of dawn, the wind had calmed down, leaving the cold that seeped into bones. The fire from the previous night was already out, with just smoke lingering in the air. Sebastian was the first to wake up and he stared at Eve, who lay beside him. He pushed the strands of hair from her face to her ear and gently removed his hand from the back of her head. Eve stirred and opened her eyes, slowly blinking and saw Sebastian, who was already up.

"Good morning," Sebastian greeted and helped her to sit up.

"Did you sleep well?" Eve asked. She doubted if he had ever slept on the ground, and being the first time, it would be discomforting, but Sebastian nodded.

"I did," he replied, and they both stepped out of the tent. Eve stretched out her hands and shivered when the wind blew.
