Interview.

Miranda had just taken a shower and took out her phone.

"Is this Ms Miranda?" the person on the other end of the line asked politely.

"Yes. I am. Is something the matter?"

"I am from DonB's HR department," the person said politely. "We're quite interested in your resume. Do you have the time to come over for an interview today, two o'clock in the evening?"

"Yes, Do I need to bring any materials with me?" Miranda face lit up.

Since it was the hiring season for DonB, and it was a well-established big company, everyone who was invited for the interview was there.

As Miranda reached the floor for the interview, she noticed that the corridor was full of people. She then registered herself at the counter and took a number. Just when she was about to sit down and wait, she bumped into someone.

"Hey! Did you come here..." Amelia hardened bet gaze. Her voice was loud, attracting the attention of everyone around them.

Miranda cast a glance at the document in Miranda's hand and said. "What a coincidence! I have no idea that you're also interviewing for the translation department."

Amelia scoffed and continued said, "Miranda, Don't try to ruin my day. DonB translation department consists of graduates from prestigious universities around the world! Don't come here and embarrass yourself!"

"Number twenty-nine, Miranda, number thirty-three, and number forty-eight…" Right then, the registrar called out some names and continued, "All eight of you, please proceed to the eighth interview hall."

When her name was called, Amelia glared at Miranda and hurried to the eighth interview hall.

Meanwhile, Miranda trailed behind her.

At the same time, on the 22nd floor at DonB

In the Director's office.

Steven gave a copy of the recent work schedule to Richard, who was sitting behind his desk.

Standing, he contemplated for a while before saying, "Director, Miss Miranda is taking an interview in HR Department. Should I send someone to make sure nothing goes wrong?"

Richard stopped going through the file of documents as he looked up, his eyes reflecting a natural elegance.

He contemplated before replying, "…No need."

He paused and took the document given by Steven, saying,

"Send the record to me later."

Sitting in the interview hall, Miranda answered all of the questions fluently and correctly. She soon moved on to the written test. After a short while, she stood up and handed in her paper to the interviewer. After she handed in the test, she quickly left the interview hall.

Amelia, who was racking her brains for the test, also did not believe that Miranda would complete it in such a short time.

When Miranda got out of the interview hall, she received a text from Sam. I am in A restaurant."

When she walked inside the restaurant, she noticed that there were a lot of couples there. Some held each other's hands on the table, Others would act lovey duvey while eating But the most eye-catching of them all was the couple who paid attention to their food and just longingly stared into each other's eyes.

At that moment, Miranda couldn't help but think that she was in the wrong restaurant.

"Good evening. Miss. Do you have a reservation?" a waiter politely asked.

"Yes, I do. I think it's under the name, Sam" she answered.

"Please, follow me to your table." The waiter led her inside.

"Hello! Miss Miranda" Sam greeted her politely.

"Sam! I am sorry to keep you waiting." Miranda took the seat. "By the way. I'm just curious, is this restaurant specifically for couples?" Miranda couldn't resist asking after what she saw.

"Sorry. If I make you uncomfortable. This is the nearest restaurant to my hospital. I have to go back in thirty minutes." Sam replied with a stiff smile.

"No problem, Sam. Let's order now." Miranda responded. He took the menu and started looking through it. While doing so, he asked Miranda about her favourite dishes. As a fine gentleman, he knew how important it was to give ladies the freedom to choose whatever they want.

"Order what you want. I'll not a picky cater." Miranda said with a lopsided smile.

"Sam, I can't imagine my life if you don't save me that day. I will never forget it. Thank you." Miranda said.

"You are welcome." Sam gave a thin smile. "Are we friends now?" Sam took a sip of water.

"Of course. We are." Miranda turned her head around the restaurant and she looked out of the window. Her eye caught a familiar black Cayenne driving towards the parking lot of the restaurant. Her curiosity was aroused as she continued to stare at the vehicle in anticipation when she saw the man getting out of the car, her eyes widened in surprise.

It was none other than Richard!
