Travel
Vi spares a glance at me and then at Ava. I can see in her eyes; that she is asking Vi to leave us alone. Vi doesn't object, she walks out with her bags.
Ava stares at the bottle of vodka in my hand and then at the door. I can see the wheels turning in her head, she is trying to see what to do first, locking the door or taking the bottle from me.
Waving the bottle in front of her, I ignore the little voice in my head telling me I shouldn't be doing this. I have no idea how this time things will turn around. I am mad at everyone. I am mad at Ava.
She leans in and tells me not to move. "Where to?" I ask her.
She sighs and walks out of the room.
I place the bottle on the floor and lay on the bed. I can feel myself getting drunk, the feeling is thrilling. My head begins to spin satisfactorily. A way I could do this every day is if someone gives me that option.
Everything is peaceful.
I feel calm.
