Our Family Needs Change
"About Belinda, what do you mean about Belinda?"
I scoff and shake my head, "Mom, there is nothing there to explain, it is just simple and plain, we need to talk about Belinda."
"Mmmh." My mother says and it is her turn to squint her eyes.
"Mom, I am serious." I sign to her.
"What makes you want to talk about her honey?" My mother asks me, I look at her surprised, why would she ask me that?
"Brenda, you have never asked me anything about Belinda, so forgive me if I am asking the wrong question, honey."
That is true I have never asked anything about Belinda, and why is my mother acting as if I have done the worst mistake of my life. But how does she know whether I have or have not asked Belinda how she is doing?
