Everyone is Moving on Except Me
The receptionist is looking at me and I am not so sure if she is feeling sorry for me or if she sees me as the stupidest person she has ever seen for not knowing which room number her boss slept in.
I don't really want to think about it that much, I should even be grateful that she decided to help me because most times I think that's the purpose of an assistant to book the hotel rooms whenever they go to a new place with their bosses, maybe for a meeting or conferences or meetings.
Unlike me, I book the room by myself, I know some of the CEO who allow their assistants to do so.
I can think of reasons she is looking at me and not say out loud if she thinks I am a stupid assistant, I think maybe it's because she had gone through what I am going through and another reason I can think of is that I had told her if I don't get to tell my boss that I won't make to the meeting I will get fired.
