Tankhun No!

Macau walked into his hotel room a little after midnight. Pete had dragged him all over the place after dinner and they ended up at a bar where Pete proceeded to get completely shit-faced leaving Macau to take care of him until the bodyguards stepped in. The boy was beyond tired so taking a shower was off the table as was getting changed so he took his shoes, belt, jewellery and shirt off discarding them as he made his way to the bed in the still dark room.

As soon as he slumped onto the bed he sat up again having been spooked by the warm lump already in his bed. It took him a second to realise it was Chay when the boy began mumbling about it being late and needing sleep. Why Chay was in his room or how he had gotten in eluded Macau so he let out and breath and settled next to the still-mumbling boy before being entrapped in a cage of arms and legs. Porchay's mumbling seized when Macau finally relaxed in the boy's embrace and drifted off.

The boys woke to Pete ripping the curtains open or rather Macau woke up and Chay started cursing at whoever had decided to turn on the lights. "We're going sightseeing today and that one's brother is looking for him," Pete said when he noticed Macau glaring at him before walking out.

The one thing Macau hated most in the world was having to wake Porchay up. While he was cute and cuddly most of the time, he was kinda scary when sleep deprived so nobody ever woke him up unless they had to and right now Macau had to wake him up or Porsche would show up and start yelling. He tried to pry off the arm that seemed to have turned to lead sometime in the middle of the night because for some reason it felt heavy. That didn't work though because Chay only rolled over putting half of his body on Macau. "Chay, you need to wake up."

This apparently fell on deaf ears because he didn't respond at all, "Porchay..." Macau poked at the boy's cheek causing him to bury his face into Macau's chest, "Are you really sleeping right now? Porchay." Macau let out a heavy sigh and rolled his eyes before staring at the boy who was cosplaying a koala on him, "If you don't wake up Kim will kiss you today."

This caused Chay to sit up looking like he'd just seen a ghost. He looked over to the boy laying next to him who was trying very hard not to laugh but failing miserably because he only ended up choking, "Ohayou," he chirped smiling sweetly.

"I hate you," Porchay said flopping back onto the bed.

"Of course you do," Macau mused ruffling his hair, "Your brother's looking for you."

"Why?"

"I don't know. Maybe because you didn't sleep in your room last night?"

Porchay didn't say anything and took to rubbing at his eyes, "How did you get in anyway?"

"I told them I lost my room key," he said like he was talking about the weather.

"But why didn't you sleep in your own room?"

"Because."

"Because?"

"I didn't want to be alone," Chay looked over at Macau who was now sitting up just looking at him, "I don't like it here."

"Where would you rather be?"

"Back home," he replied staring at the wall, "Back at my parents' house."

Macau pulled Porchay into a hug running his fingers through the boy's hair. They sat like that for a while. Just feeling each other's heartbeats. Breathing in each other's scent. Just in their little safety bubble. That was until Porsche walked in like he owned the place causing Macau to glare at him from over Chay's shoulder, "Porchay Kittisawad! What did I tell you about wandering off without your bodyguards?" he yelled ignoring Macau's glare.

Chay pulled away from Macau and glared at his brother, "Hia, you're making a noise."

"What?!"

"Besides, it's not like I was fully unprotected, Macau's guards are outside, no?" he said staring his brother down, "Also...it's very rude to walk into other people's rooms uninvited. You taught me that."

Porsche spluttered at his brother's words before turning on his heels to walk away. He stopped at the door and looked back at the two boys glaring at him, "Five minutes. I want you back in your room in five minutes. And you can explain to Tankhun why you weren't in your room when he went to wake you." with that he closed the door leaving Chay to roll his eyes.

"I am so sorry about hia's behaviour," Chay said visibly deflating where he sat.

"No, it's okay. I've been expecting him since I realised you had somehow managed to find your way into my bed last night." Macau replied snaking his arms around Chay's waist, "But for real, I think you should go before the crazy one decides to come here."

Chay began whining at this deliberately turning himself jelly so he wouldn't have to leave. Macau chuckled as he got out of bed and pulled Chay onto his feet, "Come on...up you get."

"If I leave now we can't hang out today," Porchay mumbled as Macau led him to the door.

"Wouldn't count on it," he said before placing a light peck on Chay's cheek.

The small boy went rigid before scurrying down the hallway probably embarrassed that Macau's bodyguards had seen that.

Just as Macau had predicted; Tankhun had caught air of Pete's presence and had decided he would be spending the day with Pete. He was also set on holding Chay to his word so both Chay and Pete were being dragged to heaven knows where and Macau got to tag along by association despite Tankhun's very obvious irritation.

The group made their way to the waiting cars after breakfast. They all climbed into a suburban, all but Macau who insisted on driving himself around while the bodyguards rode as passengers. Chay had tried to sneak off with Macau but Tankhun dragged him into the vehicle before they drove off from the parking port. Tankhun was talking up a storm about how much he had missed Pete and just everything and nothing that had happened since their last meeting while Porsche stared at his tablet scrolling through some work stuff and Chay stared out the window trying not to pull his hair out.

Their first stop was a shopping mall. Tankhun had decided to take everyone shopping before they could 'have some real fun' as he said. The statement only caused Pete to grimace trying to imagine what Khun's idea of fun looked like. Since Tankhun never got out much while Pete was still working for the major family, Pete never got to experience Khun's version of fun outside of jeh Yok's bar.

Macau walked into the mall a few minutes after the rest of the group with five grown men tailing him which obviously drew attention to him. Most of the people who stopped to stare thought he was a celebrity while others thought him to be the son of a diplomat; if only. He found his cousin and everyone else in a jewellery store where Tankhun had Chay and Pete trying on a bunch of necklaces and bracelets. Pete tried to talk his major family's eldest out of buying him jewellery while Chay refused to wear anything that didn't have black stones on it. The boy had just picked up a pair of diamond studs and held them up to his ears when Porsche emerged from heaven knows where, "Put those back," he said rolling his eyes at Chay, "Your ears aren't even pierced."

Chay pouted at him as he put the earrings back into the case, "What if you get your ears pierced?" Macau said stepping between Chay and his brother.

"Absolutely not!" Porsche protested.

"Let's all get out ears pierced!" Tankhun who happened to catch word of ears and piercings exclaimed waving his hands about frantically.

"Tankhun no!" Porsche and Pete yelled causing the man to scrunch up his nose.

"Tankhun yes!" Macau said darkly smirking at his cousin who cocked up an eyebrow and smirked back.

A few hundred thousand dollars were spent on jewellery nobody needed before they walked out of the store. Porsche glared daggers at Macau's head while Pete sent out a silent prayer to the universe for the preservation of his sanity and Macau's safety. They spent a few more hours walking around the mall buying more things they didn't need and a set of man-sized stuffed animals that neither Porchay nor Tankhun needed because they already had enough of back home. By the time they made it to a tattoo and piercing parlour Tankhun had worked himself into a nervous wreck almost running away before they walked in.

Pete and Porsche elected to stay in the car while the band of idiots went out to do dumb things they were probably going to regret later and that was probably going to prove true. While Tankhun talked Arm and Pol into getting their ears pierced Porchay saw the smiley face the piercer had behind her ear, "Did that hurt?" he asked, pointing at her ear.

"No," she turned around to face the boy looking him up and down before smiling, "I have time before my next appointment, do you want one?"

Chay looked at Macau who was watching his cousin do weird hee-hee hoo-hoo breathing exercises before the first piercing was done. Macau looked over at him at the same time and raised a questioning eyebrow to which Chay just shook his head. He turned back to the piercer and smiled, "I want to get a small cloud."

She nodded and told him to sit on the bench while she prepped her equipment. Macau walked over when he saw Chay rolling up the sleeve of his shirt looking a little nervous, "Whachu doing?"

"Getting a tattoo," Chay said nonchalantly.

"A tattoo?"

"A cloud, I just really want a cloud but it's small so it's not that big a deal."

Was he trying to convince himself or Macau? The piercer/tattoo artist came back and shaved a small spot on Chay's upper arm before applying the stencil and eight minutes later, Chay had his very first tattoo. It didn't hurt as much as he thought it would but maybe that was because it was small. Macau looked at the freshly done tattoo for a moment before looking at the artist, "Can I also get one?"

Macau and Porchay walked out of the parlour about an hour later following a sobbing Tankhun who was talking about bad life choices with matching clouds. One on the upper arm and the other on the wrist. Chay had rolled down his sleeve to delay his brother's discovery of the tattoo and only showed off his three lobe piercings. Porsche only scoffed and turned to his tablet, "If those things get infected, keep me out of it."

"Okay hia," Chay huffed before rolling his eyes as the car took off.

*~*~*~*~*~

The rest of the day was spent with the group going to see or find random things Tankhun had seen on TikTok. He ended up pouting during dinner because nobody wanted to go to an anime-themed cafe and agreed to go back to the hotel. Pete, Porsche, Tankhun, Chay, Macau, Pol and Arm found themselves seated at a table in the back of the hotel restaurant while the rest of the security detail lingered away from their table.

Tankhun had roped everyone into listening to the plot and his conspiracy theories about a new k-drama he had started watching. Macau was trying very hard not to tell his cousin to can it so everyone could eat in peace and Chay seemed to notice this because he whispered to the boy that the faster he finished eating the quicker they could disappear from the table. "What do you want to do after dinner?" Macau asked leaning closer than necessary to Chay.

"We could watch a movie? I wanted to watch the new Marvel movie but mid-years so..."

"My room or yours?"

Chay was about to answer when Porsche cleared his throat calling his attention to his brother who was looking at him accusingly, "What?" Chay mouthed.

Porsche simply turned back to his food. When Chay looked back at Macau the boy was smirking, "We're just going to watch a movie, chill."

Porsche looked at the boy raising an eyebrow, "I didn't say anything."

"Mhm..."

"Who's watching a movie where?" Tankhun asked suddenly switching from his rant to Macau and Porsche's exchange.

"Me and Chay."

"How come you get to watch a movie with him?" Khun asked glaring at Macau, their earlier truce dissolved, "Why do you even want to hang out with him?" this time he was looking accusingly at Porchay.

"Because that's what people who are dating do, cousin," Macau crooned smirking at his cousin.

"What are you talking about?"

"What?" Macau asked a playful smile crawling onto his face, "Did nobody tell you?"

"Porsche! What is he talking about?" Tankhun was barely sitting in his chair at this point.

"Phi, calm down. You're making people stare," Chay said tugging on Khun's cape.

"Yeah cousin, I think you need to come down."

"You, shut it!" he snapped turning his attention from Porsche to his cousin.

Macau made a point of raising his hands and smirking while leaning back in his seat which only made Tankhun angier but he ignored the boy. Tankhun sat back down when he noticed a waiter staring at him but turned to Chay and stared at him. The boy was about to ask what was wrong when Khun grabbed him by the shoulders, "Chay!!" he wailed, "Why did it have to be him of all people? You could like anyone you want but you chose my mutt cousin?"

"He realised how cool and good-looking I am," Macau said only to have everyone at the table excluding Pete, Pol and Arm tell him to shut up, "Tough crowd," he said raising a glass of water to his mouth.

"Whatever, I don't approve of this. Baby Chay, you have to break up with him."

"Tankhun no!" Chay whined grabbing the man's arm.

"Why not?" the older was clearly taken aback not having expected Chay to speak against him.

"I have reasons," he mumbled, "Anyway, I'm not breaking up with him. Can't you at least be nicer to him?"

"No!" Tankhun was now pouting like a five-year-old with his arms crossed.

"Okay, that's fine you don't have to be nice to him if you don't want to be. I'm not breaking up with him though."

Tankhun spent the rest of dinner pouting and refusing to talk to anyone. It was only when Porsche ordered him cute bear mochi that his mood improved. It didn't last long though because Macau was doing everything he could to irritate his cousin. By the end of it, Tankhun declared that he needed a drink and that Porsche and Pete were to join him. The group finally split after dinner with the grown-ups going to the rooftop while Chay and Macau headed to Macau's room.

"You really need to stop grinding Tankhun's gears," Chay said as they got into the elevator.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Macau said shrugging.

"Sure you don't."

The boys were walking down to Macau's room when a tall man in a cap and mask bumped into Chay. He bent down to pick up the boy's phone making eye contact when he handed it back. Chay gasped unintentionally when he met Hanzo's eyes suddenly grabbing Macau's hand. Macau was about to shift into defence mode but the man was already walking away only looking back for a second before disappearing into the elevator, "I really want to go home," Chay whispered.
