Lucia returned from the kitchen, her movements slow and deliberate as she made her way to the couch.

She sank back into her spot next to Tynan and Volkan, who were already halfway through a bowl of popcorn, their attention fixed on the TV. A movie played in the background, but neither of them was truly watching.

When Lucia sat down, her hands trembled slightly, fidgeting with the hem of her sweater as she stared vacantly at the screen.

Her gaze was distant, not really registering what was happening in the film, and she hadn't said a word since returning.

Tynan stole a glance at Volkan, who had already noticed her odd behavior.

The two exchanged looks, silently communicating their confusion.

Something was clearly off with Lucia—she wasn't usually this quiet.
