More Than A Friend

Three days later.
"Mmm, mm, good afternoon Sarah!" Everest cheerfully greets the 7th-floor receptionist on his way to the office.
"Hi, Everest!" Sarah politely responds back with a wave.
Everest waves back with a smile while humming to himself. But as he reached the office where his and Noah's desk is located, he stops to realize Noah is busily talking to someone on the phone.
"Must be some business partners…." So Everest guesses by the tone of Noah's polite yet stern voice.
Everest carefully walks over to his desk and quietly pulls out a file, placing it on the desk as he sat down and scooted over to look over at documents within the file.
"Party…party…new…new…year's….here we go!" he celebrates in his head, "found it!"
Meanwhile, Noah just finished his conversation over the phone as he tiredly sat on a chair and let out a deep sigh while pinching the bridge of his nose.
