Speaking To His Heart

“Mr. Davis ran away from the rehabilitation center.” I went numb hearing his scared voice. My mind couldn’t decide what I should do next. Dad is missing from there, where is he? Lot of questions flooded in my mind to crowd me, terrify me.

“What’s wrong, Snowflake?” Mr. Accardo questioned with frowns on his face turning me towards him but my thought was on my dad, he is the only family I have left. Without thinking I pushed him from my way and started running towards the door of the office.

My father is my first priority and always will be. For god’s grace he didn’t stop me this time. After the longest ride of the elevator, I finally reached the outside of the building. I hailed a cab as soon as I saw it passing nearby and told him the address of the rehab centre.
