Damien
“Garrett, just shut the f*ck up!”
I was tired of him. Garrett was the most self-centered, arrogant person I’d ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
“We get it, you don’t want to have to prove your worth. Do you think either of us is exactly happy being stuck here with you?”
“I’m sure as shit not,” Liam leaned back on the kitchen counter, sipping what had to be his fifth cup of coffee. He was lucky that he was a shifter. I don’t think human hearts could handle the amount of caffeine that he put into his body.
“My life would be a hell of a lot easier if you both weren’t here. I do have a job, you know.”
“Yeah and I-” I cut myself off before I could give myself away. Neither of them needed to know about anything that was happening at Dresden. “I put a lot of shit on hold to be here too.”
I caught Liam’s glance my way but, refused to meet his gaze. Mind your damn business, asshole! I thought at him.
