Chapter 30

“Call Vickie now,” Grayson insisted, handing her the phone as soon as they walked into the chalet.

Ari shook her head. “Thanks, but I can use my own.”

Grayson took her into his arms, forcing her to look into his eyes. “Ari, I know that we’re both getting used to our new life now—you especially—but please don’t neglect your health... and that includes your mental health.” Grayson sighed, taking a moment before continuing, wanting to word it correctly. “So, call your family and friends whenever you want. Also, you don’t need my permission. Do as you like, within reason.”

“Within reason?” Ari lifted an eyebrow.

Grayson’s expression turned serious. “As I said when we first met, don’t ever cheat on me. If you ever become unhappy with our relationship, then come talk to me directly.”

Ari lifted an eyebrow as a smile lit her lips. “Now, why would I cheat on the sexiest man I’ve ever met.”

But Grayson didn’t even smile. “Dima, my ex, cheated on me with a man in my own bed.”
