Chapter 50

They drove for a few hours before entering his family's private jet and as soon as they landed they drove again.

They drove through the tall skyscraper buildings and busy city before arriving in a more quite area.

They arrived at an area covered by forestey and infront a large gate with guards on either side. The gates immediately opened as soon as the car was identified and he was greeted by a palatial large mansion.

This mansion was located in a gated estate that had existed since the 1800s with only the truly wealthy family's the built the country living there. It was called [The Ancient Crown]

The car parked right at the door. The car door was immediately whiped open by a boy who resembled him with a bit fat on his face.

The boy's eyes where watery and his lips where trembling.

"Big brother!" Cardan smiled dotingly at the boy as he opened his arms. The boy immediately joined on him as he bust into tears. His cries where heartreantching. Cardan's heart ached painfully.

"Shush big brother is here okay" he kissed the boy's hair as he tried to comfort him and before he could say anything another body jumped on him.

The girl was already crying "Big brother what happened to your eyes...did you have to sell them to make money" Cardan didn't know whether to cry or laugh as his lips twitched at his sister's words.

"Sigh, I had no choice eating was difficult" Cardan pouted sadly as he looked at her. He must've forgotten to take off his eye contacts.

Daphne cried even more. The movies told the truth they didn't lie.Now her brother's pretty eyes where gone.

James shook his head in dissatisfaction as he glared at Cardan as if telling him 'look what you did now.'

Cardan shrugged and before he could say anything a woman with a cold face and ice blue eyes the only evidence of her mixed heritage pulled him into a hug.

"My little bug is back" she patted his shoulder as her hands shock a contrast to her calm voice.

His face softening up Cardan answered "Yes your litter bug is back mother."

"Do you have any gifts for us" Daniel asked as he took as seat next to his brother on the sofa in the family room. He along with Daphne had stopped crying and were now in the house.

"Yeah what did you bring" Daphne on his other side asked. After he took off his contacts his sister wanted to beat him up but relented after he said he brought her gifts.

Sighing he gave them each gifts he had bought for their birthday and new year's as well as Christmas.

"But only open the Christmas and New year one's on their given days" they nodded at him before running to show off their birthday gifts.

He bought them each scarfs and jerseys with their names on both. The orange belonged to Daniel since he liked pumpkins and Daphne blue since she liked the colour of his and his mother's eyes.

Amanda looked on with adoration her icy mask cracking only in front of her family and James looked on lovingly on.

"Your hair has grown" James finally said as he looked at his son's hair.

Cardan moved his hand unconsciously to his hair. "I hadn't had time to trim it." One he was too busy and two Wren threatened to cut his pay if he cut it. She apparently liked his hair long so he kept it.

Thinking about Wren had made him smile...a smile that only Chang's had when thinking of their significant others.

Amanda noticed it because all Chang men had it everytime their women where around and James didn't notice it...he just thought his son looked dumb.

"Who's running through your mind son?" Amanda asked as she drank a cup of tea.

Cardan blinked his eyes back to focus "No one important" he answered as he took to cup of tea his mother made for him, his face was suddenly hot.

Amanda chuckled as James liked on dumbfounded. He wasn't the kind of person that knew how to read others emotions which was a shocker to most who know him when he got married.

"I see then, it's dinner time now and I'm sure your siblings want to here about your adventures. You also need to eat you've lost far too much weight" Amanda stood up James following right after her. Cardan clicked his tongue at his father as he followed as well.

So that's what Cardan did he told them about what happened but didn't manage to finish as the kids ended up falling asleep in his room.

It was too large and he'd be lying if he said he was used to it.

The next day his other friends arrived. Kevin Zhang the son of the president coming from a family of politicians and military, Benedict Cheung son of the owner of the best airline in the country and owner of the first retail, and best malls in the country and world,

Derick Yin son of the owner of the first and largest fashion house in the country and ranked 3rd in the world as well as mining and energy, Aaran Song son of owner of tech and security empire,Ashton Shen son of owner of entertainment empire and medical empire and finally Erik Ruan son of the owner of restaurant and real estate empire.

Cardan well owned an oil refinery empire, construction ,hotel empire, textile empire.

Together they where all called the seven emperors as ridiculous as it sounded.

It's safe to say that they where all interested and jealous of his adventures. Cardan showed them the pictures he took on his new phone. He had to get a new one. It was of Cardan with his two fingers up, Easton and Zaden glaring at each other and Remy in between the two with a shy smile.

Another was with him and the debate team. Him and Alisha Photo bombing the others with Zaden and Cameron occupationally joining in.

The guys began noticing something. The where few pictures of the ones called Noa, boss Dai and Zaden's parents. Most pictures where from the debate team, Easton ,Zaden and Remy with the majority being of a girl wearing pink.

They all seat in silence.

Kevin coldly asked "Is she our sister-in-law" Cardan looked at them immediately denying it.

Kevin snorted coldly at his answer with Benedict asking "Then explain how a girl who has more pictures then anyone else on you phone combined isn't our sister-in-law?" Benedict raised an eyebrow at him.

Before Cardan could explain Aaran began to speak lazily "Yawn look guys he's just going to deny deny deny he's opinion as far as I'm concerned doesn't matter with present facts"

Cardan tried to explain again but they chose to ignore him.

So he just let it go. Let them think what they want. For now he would just enjoy his time with his family.
