Chapter 235: Period.
As expected after the award ceremony ended many reporters flocked towards Wren hoping to catch her with her husband.
Unfortunately for them she had already taken the back door and left with Cardan who had stopped paying attention to the business meeting after Wren came to stage for her performance.
Wren talked with her girl group for a bit longer before she received a message from Cardan asking her if she wanted to leave early. She didn't hesitate and left with him.
When they arrived at the parking lot Cardan sticked out his hand.
"It's drizzling" he murmured to himself as he helped Wren off the car. He held her bag for her as she continued answering phone call after phone call.
Some were asking of her whereabouts and others were congratulating her. Her mother invited them for dinner to celebrate and after she agreed her mother began planning the day.
After taking a quick shower Cardan pulled Wren in his arms.
