Chapter 153: Anniversary.

Cardan woke Wren up with a kiss. She returned the kiss before taking a quick shower.

They cooked breakfast together and ate before leaving and going to an animal shelter since Cardan loved animals.

Cardan beamed and kisses Wren had when they arrived there. The animals seemed to love Cardan as they followed him everywhere he went and would try to gain his attention which he provided to as many animals as he could.

He feed them, groomed them and even played with them. Wren wore a mask the entire time and took her allergy pills and only patted and feed them occasionally.

Cardan tried approaching her but she moved away from him "Animal fur Cardan, you have too much fur and there is no way I'm letting-" she squealed as so as Cardan pulled her by her hips into a hug with all the animals standing behind him.
