If ghosts could cry, Jane King's face would have been streaming.

' Ruby tried to harm Jade?' Jane asks doubting her hearing.

' What did Jade do?' Jane asks preparing for the worst afterall her daughter was a no nonsense person. Even if she doted on Ruby, she wouldn't forgive such betrayal.

' She beat up the men and told them to stay away Ruby Thompson.' Jayden says. He could still remember the dazed figure, sitting unblinking while silently crying.

Jane King unknowingly heaved a sigh of relief.

' I'm really torn between two sides. I don't want anything to happen to Ruby but I don't want Jade to be wronged either.' Jane King says.

' Jade loves Ruby Thompson alot, she won't let anything happen to Ruby Thompson and Jade won't be wronged either.' I won't let her be wronged.

Josh Mark walked sneakily towards Jade's tent. He used a knife to cut through the tent. When he saw Jade Thompson sprawled on her padded mat with no sign of breathing, he smiled wickedly.

He walked up to her and as he reached out to touch her, she suddenly seized his hand and executed a shoulder throw as soon as she sat up. She used much strength and this made the tent rip and Josh found himself crashing on the ground.

' You.... You .. How's this possible?' Josh says shocked.

Jade smirked and knocked him out, she then tied him up with the earlier prepared ropes.

' What do we do with him?' System Jade asks.

' We'll ask Darling great grandfather to lend us his Heavenly chamber.' Jade replies.

' What's that?' System Jade asks.

' You see later in the book, you find this torture chamber in the King's ancestral mansion and you use it to politely withdraw information from stubborn people. So we are going to borrow this Heavenly chamber to cater to our guest.' Jade says.

Jade takes out her phone and calls Butler Jerry.

' Good evening Uncle Jerry. Can you send some people to pick up something and please don't let great grandfather know, I don't want him to be unnecessarily stressed. Oh and please come in discreetly.' Jade says.

' Yes First Young Miss.' Butler Jerry says suppressing his curiousity.

Jade hangs up and grabs a bottle of water and emptied it on Josh's head after which she slapped him a couple of times till he came around.

' You... Stay away from me.' Josh says with a terrified expression. The girl in front of him was a monster.

' Awwn, how sad. You came all this way to see me just to tell me to stay away from you? Now that's not nice. Let's have a nice conversation, let me go first. When did Wendy Thompson reach out to your family?' Jade says with a "harmless" smile.

If he hadn't been beaten up and bound by the lady in front of him, Josh could have sworn that he would have fallen for her act.

' I heard that the finger is connected to the heart by some veins or were they arteries? Anyways, pain in the fingers are felt deeply in the heart. I wonder how painful it will be to have these beautiful fingers chopped off. Then it will be a win-win, I can finally admire their beauty while dishing out heart wrenching pain to you.' She says while using the knife to slight graze the skin of his fingers.
