Chapter 34: Untitled

Finally he finished and I read what he wrote. It explained what happened that day and when exactly it was and what happened to him as well. Then I pinched my chin thinking. Then I asked him. "I remember something sort of like that. I was hurt and had a fever. I remember someone shielding me was that you?" He nodded yes. "Oh my gosh. It is you! I told myself if I ever met that man I hope he was ok and I would thank him. Thank you so much. Thanks to you I was able to have a happy family with the man I Love. May I give you a hug?" He agreed. I gave him a good hug and cried on his shoulder. Then after awhile I calmed down and I saw him write something. After he was done he gave me the letter.

The letter said:

I'm sorry for Killing your friend and going after your son. I didn't know how else to get ahold of you. I wanted to know if you were the girl. I don't talk because I made a vow to myself. I won't talk until I met the girl I saved. I wanted you to hear my voice first.

"Aww your so sweet Damian. Are you one of Ace's men back then?" He nodded. "Oh so you were with his group. Ok can I hear your voice now?" He tried to speak but it was hoarse at first since he didn't speak in years. Then he cleared his throat. Th-Thank you for coming to meet me. I'm glad you are ok." "My please now can you start talking from now on?" "I will do my best." "OK now instead of going after my family you can talk to your boss from now on right?" "Yes I'm sorry." "Its ok. She did her job." "Ok well I better get back to my brother and my family. I hope to see you soon." I went out and Koda stood up. "Is everything ok Talia?" "Oh yes everthing is fine." Then they walked us to the gate and we got on our horses and left.

We were hallway home so we were about to rest. Just right after we got off our horses we were attacked. Luckily I just got a scrape hoping it wasn't poisoned which luckily it wasn't. Then I got out my arrows and started shooting people then I got out my sword once my arrows were gone and started fighting. After awhile I finally saw some back up for us. I saw Damian ordering some men to help us. We got to a safe distance. "Damian you came. Thanks." "NO problem. How are you?" "I'm…." Before I could say I was fine I was stabbed through with a sword then looked down at it and collapsed. "No!" Damian killed the man that stabbed her. Then he checked to see the wound. "Hang on Talia. You survived back then and you can survive now. Koda fall back! Its Talia!" Then he left the others to deal with the rest. "Talia! Is she going to be ok?" "As long as we can stop the bleeding." "Ok let me try something." He always wore a necklace with a purple gem and his sister had a blue gem with powers. He touched Talia's wound and stopped the bleeding. "I wish I could do more but I am not strong enough yet." After the last man was dealt with, they hurried on the horses to get her back for treatment.

They finally got to the gate and saw Koda with Talia. "We'll call for help." They had a device for emergencies so they called on it and told them the situation. The Knights ran her in and Koda followed. The others went back before they headed home.

The doctor ran over to the entrance and told them to lay her down there to look at her first. They did as they were told then they brought her to his clinic which wasn't far in the castle and laid her down. He took off the piece of clothing and saw the wound. "She's had worse than this she will be fine. she has a fever but will be ok." He treated the wound and wrapped it up. "She can rest in her room now. Koda take her to her room." "Yes sir."

Just as Koda laid her in the bed Jay ran inside. "How is she?" "The doc gave her medicine for her fever and treated her wound. She will be fine. As long as she gets so me rest." Then he sighed of relief. "You look pretty banged up as well." "Haha I'll be fine. Just a few scratches. I"ll let you be alone with her I'll find my sister and the others." "OK thank you."

Koda went to find the others and found them in Adrian's room. "Your ok Koda! Thank the Heavens!" said Roxy. "Everything's ok now. You can all go back to your rooms no one is after anyone now. Your mom will be fine. The doctor treated her so let her rest ok?" "Koda your stomach!" "I'll be fine Roxy its just a bruise it will heal. Talia got hurt the worst but she will be ok."

4 Days later Talia started waking up. "Hmm. Ow what happened? Huh? Why is Jay sleeping like this?" Then I looked at my wound then I remembered what happened. "Koda! Is Koda ok?! Jay wake up!" Jay woke up and saw in surprise. "Your finally awake thank god." "What's going on is Koda ok?" "He's fine I'll go get him." "Please."

About a few minutes the door opened and I saw Koda. "Koda you are ok?" "Yeah I'm better. You have been out for 4 days." "What you gotta be kidding me." "No he's not." Said Jay. "How are the kids? Are they ok?" "Shh relax you need to heal." Said Jay. "The kids are fine. I just left from there." Said Koda. "Oh good. Thanks Koda." Then she fell back to sleep.

A few more days and I was able to move around cautiously. "Where is my brother?" "He is in his office let me take you too him." Said Koda. He helped me over to my brothers office.

"Thanks Koda I can go from here." "You sure?" "Yeah go ahead." "Ok be careful." "I will." I was announced and went in. "Brother." "Oh sister. Your ok now?" "Yeah I will be I was able to get up today as long as I am careful." "Ok then what do you need?" I carefully sat down and flinched because of a little pain. "Easy now." "Sorry brother. Well I will be leaving in 2 days. Did Emerald talk to you about our plan?" "Yes she did. I told her it was fine we have some negotiations with the king there anyway." "Ok so are you leaving with us then? I was planning on leaving then next day after we got home so we could rest. We all know I can use it now." "Yeah we can leave then as well. We will bring the kids so they can hang out while you ladies have fun." "Ok thanks brother. Sorry I came here to spend time with you and I end up sleeping the whole time." "Its fine you needed to heal." "Ok well I best be going to see the kids. See you later brother don't work too hard." "Haha you and Emerald worry too much." Then I left and I went to the music room and picked up a random violin and took it to the garden. I sat on the bench and started playing random songs then the flowers started waking up. I had to stop earlier than I wanted because of some pain. I sat on the bench to rest a bit. "Hello Talia." "Oh Scarlet hello." "You don't look so good are you ok?" "Yeah I was injured a few days ago I'll be fine. I think I over did it playing the violin." "Is there anything we can do to help?" "Thanks but I don't think so. I just need to rest." So she laid down and closed her eyes. "Poor thing. I'm glad to see her though."

Some one was calling for Talia and finally found her asleep on the bench. "Talia!" It was Jay that found her. He felt her forehead then picked her up and had Adrian pick up the violin to take back. "Hmm. Ha…Ha…" "Your ok Talia your going to be ok." He ran inside and yelled for a doctor. Then he laid her down and the doctor was there in a few minutes. He checked her temperature which was feverish and checked her wound. "Get me my bag. Her wound is infected I have to clean it." "Yes sir." Once he cleaned the wound and wrapped it up he gave her a shot for her fever. "How did she get like this?" said the doc. "It looked like she was playing the violin in the garden." "sigh. I thought as much she does that to calm down. From now on don't let her leave the bed until its time for you to leave. Take the carriage she is in no condition to ride any horse." "Yes sir thank you."

Finally it was the day they were leaving and Talia woke up. "Hmm. What? Where am I?" "Your all packed the kids are already on their horse the carriage is waiting for you." "Ok I'll go." Jay helped her up and she grunted. "Easy now." I got into the carriage where my brother Emerald the baby were. Koda was laying on the seat next to my brother I sat next to Emerald and Jay to me.

Awhile later we got back and I was told not to leave the bed until tomorrow when it was time to go. I agreed. I took some medication for my pain. I was about to go to sleep when my door opened. "Oh Jay what's up?" "I have a letter from Arion addressed to you." "Ok give it here." I sat up carefully and read the letter.

The letter said:

Dear mother,

I hope you are doing well. I wish I could do more but we can't. I promise I am not overdoing it. Ok enough of that the reason I wrote this letter is because Elsa had a couple of kids she left behind. We are taking them in. If you want to come over sometime you will be able to see then. The girl looks just like her mom Elsa. As for the boy its seems like I have seen this type of bird before I'm not sure you will learn more once you see it. Well I have to go now stay in bed and heal.

Sorry I am getting through these days quicker but it's the day now that she leaves.

"OK Koda and Roxy are you ready? Emerald you ready?" "Yes lets go." "We got our bags and were ready to go. We headed off into the woods.

After awhile we were at the place in my memory of finding him. "Hey wait. This is were I found you Koda." "Yes it is. We ran around for a bit to play before we made a pact." "OK everyone lets rest here for a bit. It shouldn't be far. Now. How is your wound Talia?" "Oh its fine. Its just tender now when it gets touched." "OK then you have your medicine right?" "Yes I do." "Ok good." We took a break had some water and a snack.

After a good rest we got up and started walking again. We were finally at the gate where the foxes live. "Well Roxy. Lets hope for the best." Said Koda. The siblings held hands and walked in and we followed.

They led us straight to the Elders house. "Hello Elder. My name is Koda and this is Roxy are my parents Neve and Asher around?" said Koda. "Koda? Roxy? You two are alive?" "Yes we are." "Oh my goodness. You are alive!" Said the Elder. "Uh you look familiar. Are you by any chance my father?" "Yes. Yes I am. I was voted the Elder not that long ago. Neve come here. Our kids have returned." We heard running footsteps. "Oh my gosh. It is them." She ran over and gave them a hug then saw us and cleared her throat. "Are these your masters?" "Mother. Father. They are our permanent Masters." Said Koda. He showed his back and Roxy her shoulder. "I see. Congratulations." "Father your Master back then said he did it to protect you. Is that true?" "Yes son its true. Have you met him?" "Yes I have he is a boss now Mr. Hawk or Boss Hawk. He said it wouldn't be safe to come here but he would like to see you again whether you do a pact or not." "Hello sir. I'm Princess Talia and this is Queen Emerald." They both bowed. "No need its ok." I said. "I can write down where he is if you'd like to see him." "Yes please." He gave me a pen and paper and I wrote It down. "Thank you so much. Also thanks for taking care of our children." "The honor is ours." Said Emerald. We stayed a few days in the village then headed back.
