The lights that hung between the plaza buildings were lit due to the darkness of the sky. As I predicted, they had come on once the sun had set. They illuminated the walkways brightly as we passed under them. I had given up on questioning how Levy could relax while watching a movie as grotesque as the one we just saw. I assumed he must've watched scary films regularly so he was used to them. The sounds of the city were calm and less urgent than what I was used to. A few people were walking on the sidewalks and going into shops a good distance away while the cool night air breezed around the buildings.
It was a lovely night even though it was getting chilly. The dress I was wearing wasn't made for cold weather but I stopped myself from shivering. The last thing I needed was for Levy to wrap his jacket around me and make me fall even deeper in love with him. Since he was holding my hand, it made it twice as difficult to prevent him from noticing my chill. I continued to focus until we walked by a stone gazebo in the center of the plaza and Levy stopped. He then turned and began walking up the steps while taking me with him. "What are you doing?" I asked, curiously.
He took me into the center of the gazebo and pulled me in close. "Let's dance." I stared up at him with surprise. "But, there isn't any music playing." He wrapped his arm around me and raised the hand that was holding mine. "So?" I didn't answer because of how flustered I became. We started to sway in place and the warmth of his body against mine melted the frost from my skin. He twirled me slowly and everything that worried me about him suddenly became obsolete. With this one dance, I knew that he deeply cared about me, even though I had no clue as to why.
On the drive home, I was silent through the thought that tomorrow I would have to return to my old life. Once I took off this dress I would be a boy again. Working in a crappy diner, throwing up every chance my body got, slowly dying of hunger and the cold once winter came. There was no heating in my apartment. That broken window would kill me this December. I knew of it. I was terrified the closer we got to the slums, but I didn't show it on my face. I had no idea what would happen once we reached my apartment door.
What would Levy do? Would he realize that I'm an insecure fuck with no tits and dump me? If he didn't tonight, it was inevitable. God, why wouldn't he tell me why he liked me? Did he just care about me as a friend? That had to be what I was sensing. I reassured myself but I still wasn't sure. He was such a mystery. I could feel how much he cared about me but at the same time, I couldn't imagine a hitman and/or Satanist believing in love at first sight. Something just didn't feel right here. He was going to realize that I wasn't enough for him and dump me. It was the most logical turnout.
My anxiety rose as we pulled into the parking garage behind our building. The storage unit door opened on its own again as Levy reversed the car into it. I couldn't be seen in these clothes outside in this part of town, so Levy put on his trench coat and stood guard outside the unit as I quickly changed inside. I knocked from behind the metal door once I was done and braced myself for the look of disappointment on his face once he saw that all the femininity had left me. He lifted the door open but his smile didn't change as he looked down at me. I was surprised that he didn't at least flinch, but then again, he never did.
We soon made our way to our apartment building and snuck past all of the commotion inside. Before I knew it, we were at my doorstep and I was trying my best not to shake. Thankfully, my coat hid the ones that snuck past. I turned to Levy and prepared for his rejection as I stopped in front of the door. "Tonight was amazing, Levy. Thank you. I don't remember the last time I had fun. Well... Goodnight, I guess." He stopped me from turning to the door by resting his forearm against it. "Aren't you going to let me in?" I began screaming in my head. It couldn't be. This had to be a misunderstanding. He couldn't possibly want me. "W-why?" I asked, through my shaking.
"I want to make sure you weren't followed. I don't want yesterday's events to repeat themselves. Do you?" My body relaxed with relief. Right. He thought of himself as my bodyguard. For whatever reason. "Oh, sure. If it would give you some peace of mind." He removed his arm from the door and I turned to unlock it. I went inside and took off my coat as Levy followed and locked the door behind him. I felt a little awkward since I still hadn't felt the hammer of his rejection. "So... Would you like an orange? Maybe to settle your stomach after the dinner you had? Help yourself to my kitchen." He removed his trench coat and reminded me that he was wearing a suit that made him look surprisingly powerful.
"I would rather help myself to you," he said in a deep voice. My breath caught in my throat. "Pardon?" Levy closed his eyes with exasperation as he set his coat on my couch. "That's right. You believe yourself as unattractive." I was so confused. "I am, aren't I?" He began to walk toward me and cornered me against the wall. "For what reasons do you think you're unattractive?" I didn't know where he was going with this but responded anyway. "Well, for starters, I have small breasts, I'm little and weak, and my hair is short." He looked into my eyes with an emotionless expression as he spoke. "Cute. Cute. And cute." A small gasp escaped my lips as a smile returned to his face.
"Oh. Now I see why you were so okay with the second red flag I told you about. You thought you had a free pass since you assumed I found you unappealing. Let me tell you, you were dead wrong about that." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Wait, you like how I look?" He tilted his head. "Most definitely. You have the face of an angel. Your skin is as soft as an angel's too. Your eyes are like the ocean, and your hair and size remind me of a cute little fairy. I couldn't care less about breast size and weakness in a female just reminds me that I am a male capable of pleasuring her into insanity." The way he worded that was strange but it left goosebumps all over my body.
The part about weakness confused me for a second before I was able to translate it. He meant that he was stronger than me and because of that, I couldn't escape him. He wanted to dominate me. My trembling increased even though I was feeling heat erupt from my core. A part of me still couldn't believe he wanted me and I continued to push. "Y-You're just saying that."
