"Angel what did you need to say?" I asked in a serious tone, currently, I had dismissed all of my maids so I can be alone with the handsome angel who took his normal form and sat down on my queen size bed with his long legs crossed.
"Tonight you need to gather the moon energy, to do that you need to make a moon formation" The angel replied in a gentle tone with that same alluring smile gracing his perfect features.
I took a seat next to him and waited patiently for him to finish "You need to collect a few moon bells and place one at every moon phase. For the moon phase, you need to draw them in order by using white chalk" as he explained he pulled out a box full of chalk that is meant for drawing on the grown.
I nodded my head to express my understanding and collected the box of white chalk with a smile. He got up and walked to a study desk and pulled out a piece of paper and black ink, he proceed to pull out one of his smaller feathers and started drawing a formation.
He walked back towards me and place it on my bedside table "So new moon first then waxing crescent, the first quarter, waxing Gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, the third quarter, and then Waning Cresent moon" I utter out under my breath.
I rolled up the paper and place it inside my sleeves for safekeeping "Now where do I find Moon bells?" I asked the handsome angel man with bright shining eyes. A blue window screen pop up in my eyesight "Go visit the library and find information on moon bells, rewards: storage ring that you can bind your moon magic with" my eyes widen in surprise as my gaze shifted towards the angel.
He waved me off as if telling me not to waste any more time "Cheng Chin!" I called for my maid, who entered my room and bowed her head low. Only after a few minutes had passed did she dare look me in the eyes "I will have lunch in the library today" I stated my plans on eating in the library.
She nodded her head "As you wish my lady, do you want me to show you the way to our library?" Cheng Chin asked politely with her hands clasp together. I nodded my head and let Cheng Chin lead the way to my pavilion library, I didn't have the chance to admire my pavilion beauty before so I used my time to admire the arts.
Vases laid sparsely on the tables. Each vase had purple and white flowers inside them 'the past Gho must've loved the color purple' I silently noted down some things that I had seen. "Angel, what terrible events wait for me in my future?" I thought I might as well asked since I had only gotten the body owner past memories and not the future.
The angel hummed a little before replying "There are five men in the future that end up getting you killed in one way or another" the chibi angel smiled at me with a hint of sorrow flashing through his eyes.
I swear if I was drinking some plum blossom tea right now I would have spitted it back out due to shock "How could you leave such an important detail out?" I exclaimed in shock inside my mind.
The chibi angels clasp his small hands together "Well hopefully by the time that you meet them you will be able to protect yourself magic wise" his voice came out as sheepish. I let out a long sigh "My lady is everything alright?" Cheng Chin turned around and asked with concern laced in her beautiful orbs.
I put a slender pale hand up to my forehead "I just remember something unpleasant Cheng's chin, there's no need to worry about it" I reply to help ease the tension that had filled the air at some point.
She stop a moment and approach me then proceeded to check my temperature by placing her petite hand on my forehead "We are almost at the library my lady" she spoke after taking her hand away from me.
I nodded my head numbly, completely ignoring her strange action just now. I shouldn't make a fuss over her being worried for my health. Taking a few more turns in this maze of a pavilion we made it to the library, luckily it is labeled.
Cheng Chin pushed open the large carved doors that had carvings of small birds flying, How interesting I thought while admiring the door art. Inside the library were ten bookcases and one circular wooden table with a few chairs placed exactly in the middle.
The smell of old books wafted over harassing my sense. I walked inside the library with the chibi angel at my side who flew in one direction towards a bookshelf. Cheng's chin bow her head low again and excused herself to go and prepare my food.
"Angel, did you find the book?" I called out, I received a hum in reply. Sighing again I walked over to where I can hear the angel humming from, turning around I found the angel pointing at a green-covered book.
I carefully picked out the green cover book and wipe the thin layer of dust off of the cover "Flower guide" well it sure is straightforward. I place the book under my arm and walked over to the big table and took a seat getting comfortable and began searching the credits to find my desired flower quicker.
Page 146 Moon Bellflowers: Moon bells are said to be the tears of the moon goddess Yuèhai, They are often found growing on mountains. They have healing properties so they are widely sought out.
According to this book this flower can be blended into some type of cure for those with weak bodies, this may be useful to keep in mind. And then we have Moonflowers which are poisonous and can give people the feeling of being high.
I think that enough reading for now "Excuse me my lady I have brought your lunch" Cheng Chin pushed a metal cart towards me that had fish and wild rice. When did she enter the library? Never mind that I need to eat something to fill up this empty stomach.
I let my lips quirk up into a blossoming smile, Cheng Chin started to blush lightly and place down my lunch in front of me then proceed to give me a cup of tea. I brought the tea up to my nose and breathe in the earthy leaves "Mmhm peppermint tea" I uttered out my guess on what kind of tea she had brought me today.
Cheng Chin smiled brightly "My lady is so smart" she complimented, making me blush lightly so I turn my head away from her. "Cheng Chin, I just recognize the smell is all," I said trying to say it ain't a big deal that I can recognize on what kind of tea it is.
"Well then please excuse me my lady and enjoy your meal" Cheng Chin bowed her head again and left with light steps. I started to fill up my empty stomach with the wild rice and cook fish "It would be wonderful if they gave me the fish without bones" I utter out subconsciously. Memories of my previous life start to float back "Why did I marry him in the first place?" muttering between spoonfuls of rice about certain events.
Finishing up my meal I got out of my seat and search for some books about cultivation. I wasn't going to try them but if I can understand how it works I could probably brew up some potions to help boost them.
I found a few books and began my research about the stages, qi veins, qi, and most importantly how it is connected to the Gaia of the planet. I spent hours reading about cultivation and the type of jobs a person can have along with being a cultivator.
"So to make a qi gathering potion I need spirit grass, frost spring waters, and two colored leaves" that's easy enough I thought. I should head to the main pavilion now or else one of those concubine aunts will punish me again.
I place my books back on the shelves and left the library and by some miracle, I had found the jewel pavilion after wondering about it for a while. Hopefully, I ain't too late and maybe my dinner won't be a disaster.
I kept my poster up straight and held my head level and of course, my eyes lower towards the floor, giving off the meek vibe. The main servants took one look at me before scoffing and walking far away. I pushed a big door open and peek my head inside the dining room, luckily for me the emperor hasn't come yet.
A large chair representing a Tiger is placed at the head of the table while the other chairs are quite normal but fancy neither less. I made my way to my spot and sat myself down without any of my siblings or concubine aunties saying a single rude word.
