7: Setbacks

Suddenly Zangestu walked into the room, toothbrush in hand.

It was silent for a little and I hate silence so I spoke up, "Your fast as hell." He side eyed me before responding to me in English, "I train maximum to play with legs." "HAHAHAHAHAHA, YOU REALLY ARE AN IDIOT!"

"Oi! Shut the hell up!!" I started to feel more free around them now, it really started to feel like Manshine again.

"You shouldn't be brushing your teeth in the water, it's pretty disgusting." Nagi finally spoke out.

"It's my family motto, even if you forget everything else, don't forget to brush your teeth."

"That's a dumb saying." "My family are dentists."

"You have to be smart to be a dentist, you seem to be the odd one out," I said. "Yep. Every one other than me is smart." He then spoke out more about his life growing up, always being behind in classes, he couldn't calculate bus fares so instead he ran. Through that he managed to notice his talent for running, then from then on he devoted himself to sports.

"Woah, but what made you choose football." I was kinda hooked on the story.

"Intuition. That's why I'm gonna become the worlds number 1 and win the world cup so my parents can be proud of me." Damn now i feel bad for all the times I called him and idiot. "Sorry but that world number 1 spot is gonna be taken by me, maybe you should try your luck at running." Even though I feel bad for his story I can't lost disposition of my goal, to be the world number 1.

Zantetsu with only determination in his eyes stood up, "I accept your challenge."

"Okay guys lets cool it off a little its getting to hot in here," Said Reo.

"And besides, the world number 1 is gonna be me anyways." With a smile on his face and determination in his eyes he took up the challenge of his fellow teammates.

Then finally Nagi buts in, "I believe in Reo, all I'm really doing is tagging along. I don't really have a dream or anything like that."

"Huh, what's so special about that guy, I'd say everyone here is better than him." Zantetsu said unaware Nagi is a football genius. "I wonder... maybe it's because that's the first time anyone has been so talented but so has no passion for anything that requires him to move," Zachary said.

The bickering was coming to an end before Zantetsu asked me where I'm from.

"Well I am originally from England, my dad was a player for Manshine City. So I was kinda born in to this life, I was in love with the sport since a young age."

"That's pretty cool Manshine City is a massive club." Zantetsu wasn't as amazed as I though he would be, maybe cause he's dumb. "My father being who he is trained me from a very young age, at first I actually didn't have much talent, but through hardwork and the coonstant teaching of my father I was able to become one of the best in the academy. But unfortunately my aunt fell sick so we packed our thing and moved here."

"So then you come to Blue lock a place made for japan to win the world cup? Your either dumb, or seriously underestimate us." Now that's friendly fire.

I snickered in good faith.

{TEAM V GAME PLAN ROOM}

Reo took charge of creating a game plan against team W, they were ran by some funny looking brothers. Though Reo made a plan which with him in the center will get us the win.

{TEAM V VS TEAM W}

The game had kicked off with the brothers already in sync, we where playing a 4-2-3-1 with surprisingly me at striker, Reo at CAM, Zantetsu on the left and Nagi on the right.

I personally though was entirely against but then I remembered, I'll need goals to survive if our team was to lose, so I'll take advantage of this.

{REO POV}

I made a game plan of me shutting down the younger brother and everyone else targeting the older. Though surprisingly I was surrounded by three players. "We watched your highlights and knew from that the team revolves around you huh. If we can stop you from leading team V, the whole team will stagnate, then out wonder duo will tear you apart!"

{3RD POV}

The duo where on a rampage, tearing apart the defense like wet paper. Then the brothers played a one two leaving Nagi in amazement as they practically walked past him. They where bearing down on goal, it looked certain, but like a thunderbolt Zachary Ibrahim had arrived.

Using his body effectively he blocked the ball with his left leg leaving a sharp pain, though adrenaline was through the roof. "That was dangerous you guys." The twins enraged charged at him though two stepovers and a fake shot followed by a signature nut meg that had the two on the floor.

Going coast to coast he embraced the life a football monster showing of his flashy yet effect skill moves with a smile on his face, his eyes looked dark and mesmerizing, though the defenders did not back down.

One tried to stand tackle the ball from his feet, but instead he was bodied to the ground. He arrived at the 40 meter line on team W side. He was being chased by both his teammates and opponents though he had no care in the world, this Zachary had never been seen before. A monster in human clothing. He had been docile for far to long, but now he has his eyes set on his goal, he will become the greatest footballer of all time!

The fullback tried to slide tackle him but instead he flicked it over him the next one tried to shoulder him off the ball, but was instead thrown to the ground with no foul call.

There where two more centre backs left, but they stayed planted to the ground as they could feel the rocket of a ball launch past them and despite the keepers best attempts, he was beaten.

Then the goal scoring inhuman let off a roar, "GGGOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLL!!"

The monster that terrorized Manchester had been let off his leash and he was hungry for goals.
