Chapter 3 Tag Your "It"

[Time Skip]

After arriving at the Blue Lock facility, I was given some clothes and a badge with the number 289 on it. The female who gave me the clothes told me to get changed and go to room Z.

I enter the room and see eleven people around it. As I scan the people in the room, I notice someone with Black and yellow hair sleeping on the floor. 

While I was looking at the people in the room who were getting ready, Ego's face suddenly appeared on the screen. He said, "Hello, you lumps of talent. Are you finished changing yet?" 

"Everyone in this room can be considered your rivals and teammates, who will push you past your limits, also the numbers on your arms are your ranking based on my judgment from the information I gathered."

"Now let's get started with a game of ghost tag." He said as a ball dropped into the room.

"You have 136 seconds, and whoever touches the ball will become the ghost. When the moment that the time allotted ends the person who is the ghost in the end will have to leave, oh also no handballs are allowed." Ego Jinpachi said.

As soon as Ego finished speaking a timer appeared on the screen, along with a name on it that said Igarashi Gurimu.

The game began with Igarashi being it as he, started chasing everyone trying to hit them with the ball but they all ended up dodging his shot attempts, after his attempts failed after being desperate to try and hit someone he spotted a boy with black and yellow hair who was sleeping with his thumb in his mouth as he was about to kick the ball at the boy he suddenly woke up and kick Igarashi in the nose.

Igarashi began to complain about being foul as he heard "He said that only handballs are not allowed in this challenge" The boy with black and yellow hair said with a tired look on his face.

At this time a boy with orange hair came over "Hey don't use those sneaky tactics. We should all settle this fa..." Before he could finish speaking igarashi already kicked the ball at his face.

Igarashi stuck his tongue out at the orange-haired boy feeling happy about his sneak attack. At this time the screen changed from Igarashi Gurimu to Kunigami Rensuke.

Kunigami Resuke was instantly infuriated as he prepared to kick the ball at Igarashi. 

When Igarashi saw this he began to look around for someone to hide behind and at this time he saw Itoshi Zen. Igarashi tried to grab Zen but at this moment he noticed that Intoshi Zen did not even budge. 

At this time Itoshi Zen turned his head to look at Igarashi looking at him with a cold gaze.

Noticing this gaze Igarashi let go of Itoshi Zen and immediately tried to apologize "I'm sorry I didn't mean it," Igarashi said before turning around and running away.

All of this was observed by the boy with black and yellow hair who said " He was scared of this person and ran away."

Kunigami Rensuke who was taking a shot was unable to change the direction where the ball flew. The ball flew towards Itoshi Zen, seeing this ball flying toward him Itoshi Zen had a calm expression on his face and trapped the ball with his chest before placing his foot on top of the ball.

Seeing that Itoshi Zen Was just waiting for the timer to run down the other people in the room were confused they thought that he had given up. At this time the timer only had ten seconds left on the clock.

Noticing the ten seconds on the clock Zen immediately shot the ball toward the direction of Kunigami Rensuke. Seeing the ball coming towards him he dodged out of the way as the ball flew past him and bounced off the wall and came back towards Itoshi Zen. 

Seeing the ball coming back toward his direction a rare smile appeared on Zen's face as he jumped before trapping the ball and volleyed the ball in the direction of Igarashi hitting Igarashi in the face with the ball as the timer hit.

He fell on the floor gasping for air as the timer ran out, he began to tear up as his dream was completely crushed but I looked at him with a cold facial expression.

As Zen was staring at Igarashi Ego's voice sounded "You lost now get out." Igarashi Stood up before trying to refute "How can my career be decided by a dumb game?" 

Hearing this ego mocked "Haven't you noticed? Look at this room it is the same as a penalty area. This game shows the skills of a forward whether it is testing, reaction speed, shooting ability, or dribbling speed. This is training and you failed now lock off."

Igarashi was in a daze hearing Ego's words and started crying harder before exiting the room.
