Unexpected accident

I got home very late, i met Alex and mummy waiting for me, " Tister, you are back" Alexander said hugging my legs, " I am back" I said dropping a peck on his forehead, " how are you, dear?," mum asked, " fine mum," I said and pecked her on the cheek, " how was the store today," I asked "it wasn't bad," she replied, " hope there was sales today," I asked, " there was sales but it wasn't much," mum said, " oh!",I replied, " Go upstairs, shower and come down for breakfast" mum said, "ok," I said going up the stairs, when I reached the mid stairs I stopped to talk to Alex,"lex, I brought a cupcake for you" I said ruminating through my bag for the cupcake I brought for him, " there you are," I said and brought out the cupcake and gave it to Alex who had joined me by the step," thank you, Tister," he said receiving it with a smile, " you are welcome" I said giving him a full blown smile of mine," mum can I take the cupcake now" I heard his voice downstairs as I go up the stairs," how about you take it after dinner as dessert" mum said, " I will listen to mum," I heard him say as his voice faded into the background. Alexander is a very sensible boy, he knows when to do things to make different people happy, I am working as a part-time server to make sure he goes to school and he made sure he utilised his learning very well by coming first position in class, most times he is the one that keeps me going, like I don't know what I would do without him and mum in my life, they are the best thing I can ever asked for. I entered my room and closed the door gently behind me, I kept my backpack by the wardrobe beside my bed, I still have an assignment I need to do and I have to go through my notes as a scholarship student, to keep the scholarship going I have to read very well and come first in every exams. I pulled off my clothes, remove the wig and the glasses and went to the bathroom to shower.

After I am done showering I changed into my home clothes, I quickly run a comb through my hair since I did not bother washing it, it is too long to hand dry since I don't have a hand dryer yet, I applied lotion on my skin and put on my home slippers and put my clothes in the laundry basket for washing, after I am done I went downstairs to meet mum and Alex who were watching Television, " Mum," i called and we moved to the dining room," how was work today" mum asked as she served me and Alexander bowl of pasta, " it was stressful" I said as I put sauce on my pasta, " Lex how was school today," I asked as I put sauce on his pasta," it was fine" he said giving me one of his toothy grin," lex!" I called looking at him suspiciously, " yes" he answered giving me a wide grin, " wanna tell me something?," I asked, Lex like me hate going to school he usually feels like those in school are below his I.Q, so to him school is also not fun, so him saying school was fine with a grin is suspicious," yeah," he said and brought his lips closed to my ear, I took a bite from my food," A new girl came to my class today, she is so pretty, she promised to marry me next week, Alex whispered into my ear, " Lex!!" I called almost choking on my food," Alexander Thwaites," I called, " Yes," he answered sweetly with one of his innocent smile, Alexander is a very cute boy, he had a black mane that was cut into style, a very pink lip a well carved eyebrows, a sharp jaw, dimples whenever he smiles, he is the cutesy eight years old you can ever imagine, he is also too tall for his age, despite his cuteness I am the one that knows that he is a devil in angel appearance, he can get pretty devious whenever he wants to be a but he his all just too tall for his age and he knows the best way to escape being punished by acting all cute. " Alex how old are you," i asked sternly, he timidly held up eight fingers," you are...." I almost spilt the beans in front of mum but one glare from lex reminded me that it was our little secret, "You are still too young to get married" I whispered Into his ear, " why," he asked pouting adorably,"Because you are young", I said, " but i am tall," he said folding his hands over his chest, " if you get married next week, you won't see me and mummy again," i said," I still want to see you and mummy," Alex said," so you have to cancel the wedding," I told him," ok I will listen to Tister, " Alex said bobbing his head, i ruffled his hair and smiled at him,"what is your whispering all about?" mum asked," It is nothing mum, it is just me and Alexander bonding," I said and continued eating my food.

I hit the bed and slept off immediately after I finished my food.

I woke up with a start, I stood up from the bed and stretched myself, I had a very wonderful night, I slept like a baby, I checked the clock on my nightstand and it read 6:00, Wow! I woke up very early today that's a new, I have to hurry up and help mum out in the kitchen she will be probably happy that I woke up early today, I twirled around chuckling happily.

I quickly went about my morning routines brushed my teeth, had my bath and I dressed up for class in my nerdy clothes, I checked myself in the mirror and was satisfied that I looked unrecognisable enough, I checked the time and it read 6:45, I hurriedly packed my clothes into my backpack and ran downstairs, I really want to give mum a helping hand. I dropped my backpack on a chair in the dining and hurried to the kitchen, " Good morning mummy," I said grinning widely at mum, I walked up to her and gave her a peck on her cheek," Good morning sweetheart," mum greeted back with a peck of her own, " I can see you woke up early and, you are bubbling with energy," mum said smiled at me and went back to the pancake she is frying, " yes mummy", I said, " what can I help you with?" I asked trying to make myself useful," You can help me get Alex ready, I woke up late and hasn't been able to get him ready for school," mum said turning the pancake, oh! no I thought to myself, I dislike bathing Alex but today is a very nice morning and I don't want to spoil the morning, " ok mum," I replied with lesser energy, " Thanks love," mum said giving one of her brightest smile making it hard to refuse her, " you are welcome," I said and matched out of the kitchen to the room shared by Alex and mummy, Alex and mum shared a room because there is only two room in the house, one upstairs which is where I am staying and the other us downstairs which mum and Alex occupied," Alexander," I called as I softly opened the door of his room and entered, one thing about ex is that he is a deep sleeper," Alexander," I called again but there was still no response, I moved closer to his bed, I gazed at his sleeping figure, he was so peaceful and innocent when sleeping that the urge to protect him is strong but I know Alex is far from being innocent, he is a mini demon once you get in his bad book, he is the definition of devil in angel appearance, " Lex" I called trying to rouse in from slumber, but did I get an answer no, I went to the kitchen to meet mum," mum how do I wake Alexander up, I have been calling him but he won't wake up," I complained to mum,"Just take a cup of cold water and sprinkle little on his face," mum said, "ok mum I said and took a cup of cold water along with me, " Alex," I called again when I was in his room but I got no answer so I decided to sprinkle the water on him, He screamed as the water fell on him, " what are you doing?" he asked glaring angrily at me, he hit the cup away and stood up angrily on the bed looking at me in the eyes, was he scary? yes he was, " I was just trying to wake you up," i said trying to justify myself," is that how mum wake you up?" he asked accusing look, " mum asked me to wake you up like that when you won't wake up too," I said, He glared at me and sat down on the bed, " I am sorry," I said feeling guilty when he refused to talk to me, "Tister...,"he called, I looked at him,"don't do that again he said after a long pause, " I won't," I promised and pecked his forehead," Good morning," I greeted him and sat on his bed beside him," Morning Tister," he said returning to his cheerful self," How was your night,"I asked," it was fine until Tister woke me," he said pouting adorably," Sister know she did a bad thing," I said poking his cheek, " since Tister knows she have done a bad thing, Alex will forgive sister," he said grinning at me," let's get you prepared for school mummy is busy making breakfast," Alex will let Tister get him ready for school quickly," he said jumping down from the bed, I stood up from the bed and followed him to the bathroom, I took his bath.

" Good morning," Amelia called as she entered , " Aunt Amelly," Alex called excitedly as he ran to her," Good morning Xander," Amelia cooed as she squeezed her into a hug,"it was fine, until Tister woke me up by pouring water on me," he said pouting adorably,"Lex you don't have to report me to her,"I muttered disapproving," Really! Melly why would you pour water on my baby boy," Amelia asked glaring at me," Sorry," I muttered trying to avoid her trouble," Nonsense, Lex don't mind her, ok?,"she said leading Alex to the bed," let's get you ready for school, and then we go and get your chocolates," Amelia said, " you brought me chocolates?" Alex asked," yeah just for you my baby,"Amelia said," Thank you, Aunty Amelly is the best"Alex said and gave her a toothy grin,"Awwwn, My lex is the best too," Amelia said," Can you get me Alex uniform," Amelia said. I stood up and went to Alexander wardrobe an came back with his uniforms which I handed to him," Thank you Tister," he said and put the uniform on himself, I adjusted his collar for him,"Melly I saw an advertisement for those who are interested in modelling with a very high pay", Amelia said handing her phone over to me, I scrolled it and I saw the advertisement she was talking about," Amelia you should know I ain't interested in this celebrity lifestyle," I said handing the phone back to her with disinterest," But...," she wanted to continue arguing but one look from me reminded her to stop talking," Am done," Alex said as he carried his backpack," okay," I said and adjusted his collar for him.
