Chapter - 14

"It's room number 85. It is on the second floor." She quickly spat out as her hands reached to grab the iPhone from Austin's hand.

Austin's lips curled up a little with satisfaction. He walked towards the stairs...

Lilly was lying lazily on her bed when suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Knock knock"

Lilly was confused 'Who could it be?' She thought to herself. Since everyone must be at the classes right now, she couldn't guess who could be at the door.

"Knock knock knock knock" The door banged continuously.

"Stop you are going to break the doors. I'm coming." Lilly yelled as she walked up to the door.

"I have to walk here to open the door. I don't fly..." Lilly pulled the door and got the shock of her life as her eyes met the person in front of her. "You... what are you doing here? Who let you in here?"

Lilly panicked 'Is this jerk following me?' She wasn't sure what to do so began calling for help.

"Madam, madam... There's a boy... hhhhh" Before she could speak any further Austin blocked her mouth with his hands. Lilly tried to fight back but she was too weak in front of Austin.

Austin pushed her inside the room and pinned her against the wall "Don't you dare to shout..." Austin was a bit furious.

"Or what?" Lilly looked directly at Austin's eyes. She then realized just how close her face was to Austin's face. She could feel his hot breath all over her face and her face was burning.

'Why is it so hot suddenly?' She questioned herself.

"Wild cat..." Austin pushed her aside and sat on Lilly's bed.

"What on earth is going on?" She yelled at him Would you mind telling me why are you here?

"I came here to check up upon you..," Austin speaks the truth with a playful smile but how can Lilly believe her.

"You? Just get out..." Lilly yelled at her.

"Get out? What do you mean by getting out just like that? Do you know I have to give away my latest phone to search your room?" Austin shook his head as he scoffed.

"I didn't ask you to do that nor do I ask you to come here okay?" Lilly snapped.

"What do you mean...? Do you want to see me walking into each door to find your room?" Austin adjusted himself comfortably in the bed as his eyes focused on Lilly Jones.

"Look! Austin, it is not something to casually joke about okay? We both are in a serious problem. Do you know what could happen if someone sees you here?" Lilly felt so annoyed. Everyone was going to point their fingers at her and they might get some serious sort of punishment like being suspended or maybe even expelled.

"Why? What is wrong if I came to check on you?" Austin looked at Lilly like a lost puppy. Lilly was about to yell at him but seeing how cute his eyes were, she couldn't bring herself to scold him.

"Everything... You won't understand. You shouldn't have to come here. It is not like you care anyway?" Lilly looked at Austin as if she was expecting something.

Austin looked at her and saw her pouting like a baby. He couldn't hold his laughter "Hahaha... I... I just wanted to see what does a wet cat look like? I mean a wild cat acts the same with water, right?" Austin looked at Lilly as he hold his stomach trying to contain the laughter.

Lilly was first shocked and then her expression slowly turned from shock to anger. She was annoyed and pissed off.

'I should've known he is here to make fun of me, of course. What were you even expecting out of that jerk?' Lilly cursed herself thinking another way for once.

"Austin please, leave..." Lilly was oddly calm this time.

"No, I won't. I don't want to attend those boring lessons" Austin lazily lay on the bed not intending to move an inch from there.

"Look Austin, if the warden saw you here, we both will land in the principal's office. I know you love it when I get into trouble but please leave, I don't want to get into any trouble because of you" Lilly felt annoyed as she saw how comfortable he was being on her bed.

"Ya, I came to check on you. That is it, why do you have to see bad on everything?" Austin also felt annoyed. Did he come all his way here for this? He scoffed at his irony.

'What was I even thinking?' He scolded himself.

"Because you are a bad person" Lilly yelled at her.

"Oh, yeah? Guess what? You are not even a person. You are an ungrateful wild brat cat" Austin rolled his eyes at her.
