Chapter - 13

"Thought you'd be hungry, you just skipped your lunch" Billy also lowered his voice imitating her.

Claire got a big smile on her face hearing Billy's whispering. She was blushing, smiling ear to ear, and feeling so bubbly.

"Billy noticed me.... he cares about me..." Claire begins to dance in her head. She could feel butterflies all over her stomach. They were tingling her stomach all the way.

"Come on, eat them. Eat them before miss Avery came back" Billy requested as he make his voice normal.

"But... what if..." Claire hesitated.

"No, but, no what if... Just have them or your stomach will be upset" Billy winked at her. Actually, he had heard the growl earlier, it was then he realized Claire had an empty stomach. He didn't mention it because he didn't want Claire to feel embarrassed.

Claire was blushing hard not only because Billy cared about her but also because she felt embarrassed about how her stomach made an upset sound earlier. It was a good thing that Billy gave her food otherwise who knew what other sound was her stomach about to make? She quickly picked up the bag and held it in her lap. She opened the packets of chips and shoved a piece into her mouth.

Billy smiled looking at her with satisfaction. Claire felt warmness in her heart. The way Billy looked at her with passion and love, melted away her heart. She felt warmness and tingles all over her body. It felt so sweet and warm. But she felt it hard to look into his eyes. Whenever they met, her heart would stop beating... She would feel a wave through her body. So she looked away shyly.

In the meantime, Austin was standing outside the library. He thought Lilly would be here if not for the classes but he was wrong, this time Lilly wasn't there. He didn't know where else to search for her.

"Where could she be?"

He thought for a while before heading off to the girl's hostel. There were only girls in that building. But the problem was he didn't know what was Lilly's room number.

He wandered in the building here and there looking at each room one by one. Thankfully, the warden was not around at the time.

He was checking the rooms when he saw a shadow in the next room. Austin was excited and relieved, finally, someone is here. He thought to himself.

He walked up to the door and slightly pushed it open. The girl inside was Amelia, she was sick and had taken leave that day. She never thought that someone in the whole world come to her dorm at this time. So when Austin showed up, she couldn't help but scream out loud scaring Austin away.

"Woah..." Austin slammed the door shut and held his heart to calm down his heartbeat. All his excitement had vanished away as he saw that the girl inside wasn't Lilly Jones at all.

"Why are girls this loud? My soul almost left my body" He shook his head and walked away.

He was about to open the next door when he thought of something and walked back to the girl. This time he knocked on the door like a gentleman.

The girl half opened the door and peeked through it.

"Ummm... do you know what is the room number of Lilly Jones?" Austin asked with a little frown.

"Is it your sorry?" Amelia scoffed.

"What?" Austin's frown got better visible this time.

"I mean you should be apologizing. Aren't you?" Amelia said in a soft and humble tone.

"You should be telling me the room number. Nah?" Austin raised one of his brows.

"What do I get in return?" Amelia's voice was still weak but not her intention.

"What? What do you need?" Austin questioned back.

"You opened the door without knocking on me and scared me. You should be punished badly for that but since you are so cute and you are constantly apologizing, I won't be so harsh on you. You can give me your number. What do you say?" She winked at Austin. She was just an ordinary girl and Austin was so handsome that his charm was irresistible.

"Number?" Austin scoffed and walked away. She wasn't able to harm him anyway.

"Don't you think boys are forbidden to come to this building? What if told the warden about it?" Amelia wasn't letting it slip by.

Austin stopped and turned around. He shook his head and took his phone out of his pocket. It was the latest version of the iPhone pro 13 that cost a fortune to get.

He take a look at it and without hesitation, he extended his hands towards Amelia. "Want it?"

"Of course" Amelia was so excited to see a new phone. She quickly extended her hands to take it but Austin pulled his hand back.

Amelia's face become dull but Austin had a smirk plastered on his face "Room number and it'll be yours..."
