Threats and Turmoil in Pleasant Hill

On the following morning, in the Louisiana police station, Detective Johnson walked over to Kaz and Tommy's cell, his face lightened as he walked confidently, happy like he had just won a lottery.

"You two," he said. "Your boss is going to rot in jail, and I would personally make sure of that. He's a bad influence on our community, enough of him being around."

Tommy laughed. "What's so funny boy?" Detective Johnson asked.

"You're talking about Big Jim as if he's the only bad or dirty nigga in this city," Tommy sighed. "Aren't you a dirty cop too? Time will tell, soon Nigga I'm very sure you'll fall just like every other black dude in Louisiana."

Detective Johnson's face turned red with rage. He raised his baton and hit it on the cell bars which made a loud clang.

"You shut your fucking mouth, stupid kid. You don't know a thing."

Detective Johnson sighed as he stormed out of the cell block and went to his office. He slammed the door shut and sat down at his desk. He was furious and worried at the very same time.

He knew Tommy was right with his words. He wasn't a clean cop, Tommy's words made it clear to him that the streets still knew that he was a dirty cop, and this meant that they might come back to use it against him. And then He would be ruined.

He took a deep breath and tried to calm down. But he couldn't stop thinking about what Tommy said to him. The words were piercing right through his brain.

Still seated in his office, thinking about the words of Tommy. Detective Johnson had tried everything he could to forget his past life which was dirty, but they kept coming back to him.

He was so lost in thought that he didn't hear a knock on his door. The door opened, and the Mayor, Kyle Houston, walked in.

"Hey, Detective Johnson," the Mayor said, as he walked in and shook hands with him. "I like what you did with the Big Jim case. I must say, I'm impressed."

Detective Johnson was startled. Still standing he looked at the Mayor's face and found that the Mayor was indeed impressed so he bowed.

"Thank you, sir," he said. "I'm glad I could help."

"I'm sure you are," the Mayor said. "But I'm flatter or get you high. I'm here to ask you to do something for me."

"Of course, sir," Detective Johnson said. "What can I do for you?"

"I'm concerned about a particular location in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana," the Mayor said. "It's a notorious place that is controlled by a gang called The Purple Gang. It's where Rashad and his gang operate. That place is said to have recorded the highest illegal activities in Louisiana."

Detective Johnson knew the place very well. He had been there before, in the same place his officers caught Kaz and Tommy running out from. It was a dangerous place, and he didn't like going there.

"What do you want me to do about it?" he asked.

"I want you to shut it down," the Mayor said. "I want you to put those criminals behind bars."

Detective Johnson breathed heavily. He knows how many detectives before him had tried to get the boys and stop the illegal activities going on in that area.

"I'll do it, Sir". Rashad said.

"Thank you, Detective Johnson," the Mayor said. "I knew I could count on you."

So again the Mayor got up and shook Detective Johnson's hand then he left. Detective Johnson sat back down at his desk. It just dawned on him that he had a lot of work to do.

Just about when Detective Johnson started doing some paperwork concerning the operation the mayor just ordered he heard another knock on his door.

Come in!! He yelled, and walking in with anxiety was Officer Jonah.

"Detective Johnson!" OfficerJonah said. "There's been an attack on one of our police vehicles. All of the officers in it were killed."

Detective Johnson was stunned. He stood up and stared at Officer Jonah's face.

"What? Where?" He asked, grabbing his keys, about to make a run to their location instantly.

"I heard it happened on the roof of the Super 8 by Wyndham Mansfield the street in Pleasant Hill," Officer Jonah said. "They were ambushed."

Detective Johnson felt a wave of nausea wash over him. He knew that place. It was a dangerous neighborhood, and he had been there before.

"Are all the officers aware of this?," he asked officerJonah

"Yes they all are, Sir"

"Good. Tell them to hurry. We need to go to that location immediately."

Detective Johnson and Officer Jonah rushed to Pleasant Hill. When they arrived, they saw the scene of the crime. The police van was riddled with bullet holes, and the bodies of the officers were lying on the ground.

Detective Johnson took a deep breath and started to examine the scene. He looked for any clues that would help him identify the attackers.

After a while, he found something. There was a piece of paper on the ground, next to one of the bodies. Detective Johnson picked it up and examined it. It was a note, written in blood.

The note said: "This is just the beginning. We're coming for you next."

Detective Johnson felt a chill run down his spine. The note was a clear warning that looked like it came from the Bandidos gang boys. They were coming for him, and he needed to be prepared.

He finished examining the scene then he turned to his other officers.

"Hey, you all Hop into the van. We're heading back to the station."

The officers got into the van with Detective Johnson and they drove off leaving the medical team to take care of the bodies. In the car they were all silent, each lost in their thoughts.

Detective Johnson knew that this was a serious case. The attackers killed four police officers in cold blood, and they had left a threatening note.

As they drove to the police station, Detective Johnson thought about the note. "This is just the beginning. We're coming for you next," these words were going back and forth in his head.
