The chatter 2

Oh, snap! incoming:

"As the townspeople started to gather in the town square, the sky began to darken. A strange mist rolled in from the forest, enveloping the town in a thick haze. Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed through the night, and the townspeople looked around in terror.

They saw a shadowy figure, its eyes glowing red like embers, standing at the edge of the forest. It let out a low, guttural growl, and the townspeople recoiled in fear. Whoa! This is getting intense! Ok, here's Chapter 3:

"As the mysterious figure approached the town, the townspeople felt a chill run down their spines. The fog seemed to thicken, and a heavy sense of dread filled the air. But just as the figure reached the town's border, a burst of light shone from the sky, illuminating the town in a blinding white light.

The figure paused, and the townspeople held their breath, waiting to see what would happen next. But then, in a sudden flash, the figure disappeared, and the town was once again plunged into darkness."
