Remi’s POV

When I arrive at the Vital Records building, I make my way upstairs to the same meeting room where I first met Gray’s team and had my first run-in with Gray. The room doesn’t hold many pleasant memories for me since starting this job, and I just know today will add to those memories.

I readjust the handbag on my shoulder and wonder how the meeting will go. After what Bronson told me last night it is clear Gray isn’t overly keen on this publicity stunt, but Lucy didn’t give him much of a choice if he wants to salvage his public image. I mean, it makes sense, but it also seems that Lucy is treating Gray as more of an object – ignoring his feelings and opinions – instead of a real person. It makes my blood boil sometimes, but who am I to say something and speak up for a person I barely know? I’m only a newbie in the industry.
