Chapter 18

We had been on the floor for a few hours now. I took stand and dusted myself. He does the same. I debated going back to my room. I currently felt unstable. I'm at the brink of breakdown I just know it.

"You can stay here for as long as you want T."

I looked at him intently how did he know. Was I really that transparent?

"You're on the edge and jumpy. You usually do that when you're anxious or scared sometimes when you're emotional."

I huffed and crossed my arms. Someone did his homework about me. I wasn't not about to break down in front of him though. I didn't want to talk about my feelings so I decided to change the subject.

"How did you know where I was last night?"

Micah paused and glanced at me, one foot against the wall his back hunched for balance.

A few long seconds pass before he said a word.

"I just knew."

"Bullshit you were there at the exact time I needed you almost as if you knew what was happening. "
