Another Start

Max used his right arm to shield his eyes from the bright red lights being emitted by the giant eyes of the Wizard King. The powerful sound of energy being unleashed continued to echo:

mmmmm

.

.

mmmmm

.

.

mmmmm

Every red ripple crushed the blank space and the darkness, revealing how high the wide empty column they were inside kept running up, and higher up that even the abnormal eyes could not see its end.

mmmmmmmmmm....

A final ripple was released by the red eyes with a sound that kept replaying in Max's brain for more seconds even after leaving the big column.

Putting his arm down, he couldn't see Hazel anywhere but he and Armless were back into the bright dome neighboring River of Origin. They slowly stood up from the ground at the same time before they stared questions at each other.

Max whispered, "Am gonna be a human again?" His lips parted.

Armless replied saying, "And I will have arms plus the power of an Imperial Alpha." Her lips are smiling.

"Where is she?" They asked at the same time.

First was their scents into the bright dome followed by their voices: Royal Forces were here.

"We check this dome and return." A Royal Force advised.

"How I wish we could kill the crazy wolf if we find them and return the undead for more of his blood. They attacked the castle and now have escaped, maybe they are those who even freed the Wild Vampires!" added another one.

'Undead...'

'Bad wolf...'

'Not good...'

"I suggest you climb up and we run to Anyway city to wait for her there, make sure you clutch my fur tightly alright?" Armless told Max with a nod. "We are taking the other way out." She glanced at her left.

Max stepped backwards away from her. "What if ya take me back to Gold?" He clenched his fists. "Ah trust ya aren't loyal to the Wizard King nor to Hazel but to Gold. So ah ain't loyal to ya either." His eyes squinted at the armless woman, his pessimistic trait getting the best of him.

The steps of the Royal Forces became more apparent to the duo's hearing. Max attempted summoning Void Emotion but no, there was no single notification popping: His Vampire System was nothing fine since after the Luna Princess kissed him, nor was Void Emotion active ever since he visited the Void Realm.

The system never showed him anything after that incident pertaining to his Vampire Status and even about his Blood Time particularly and Lucas wasn't speaking into his brain anymore and even to activate Spider Vision was now more difficult to do and painful and everything was slowly going...

Gritting her teeth and speaking through it, "I don't like you acting like a moron!" Armless' bones cracked, relocated and enlarged by shifting into the Primordial form which was good for long-distance travel and has enhanced superior senses.

This was the first time Max saw in detail a Werewolf shifting, and it was more of a magical process than he thought because everything regarding it seemed to be weaved out of the tin air.

In a blink of an eye, Armless ragefully grabbed Max after shifting. Running to the exit with him dragged along behind, she pull-forced him to climb her back as she started to run on all fours. He shouldn't dare be the first obstacle in her pursuit of finally getting her arms, she thought with determination in her eyes, or he gets eliminated if possible.

Max landed at the right time on her back. Being very close to slipping down, he adjusted himself back on the remarkably fast wolf that dodged few protruding rocks and clutched its fur very tightly, his brown hair blown backwards by the beating wind.

This moment... This moment was another starting point in the Vampire Slave's cursed life. He's now having some allies to assist him reverse his mother's condition. He had made an agreement with the Wizard King and the Luna Princess, and he believed it was the right thing to do.

Despite his broken ribs and the series of unfortunate events that he underwent, Max found solace in the promising future he believed should be found somewhere ahead. The future... It had to be promising for him. His mind... he currently needed to have his full-clad solace, so he chose to let go of the painful memories and his negative encounters with Gold, likewise burying his pessimism deep down within him.

Therefore his emotional feelings were diverted to the right place.

Max focused on his growing ambition to become a better person and prioritized it above all else. As they soared through the air, leaving the dazzling dome behind, for once, he set his sights on the positive possibilities that lay there ahead of him.

'This path I'm taking should better be the right one. Evelyn, becoming a human comes first. My mother comes first. I hope before doing so, I'll find you and keep you safe from Lucas. Accept my apologies. Just remain alive. Just keep breathing. Just don't wait longer.'

As the dirty furred beast with a determined looking Vampire sitting at the top exited the bright dome, entering it, the Vampire Slave immediately looked stunned at the view of a big tunnel made of Vamus Rock ahead of them. "Oh damn goodness." he exclaimed in amazement. "How large, how long does this go?" He asked Armless — she couldn't reply being shifted.

The amazing aspect of the tunnel was its mightiness.

"Wonders..."

This was somewhere beneath the River of Origin, and it was a secret exit. The amazingly powerful strength of the flowing water coming from the east, no matter its speed, crashed with the red-transparent Vamus Rock that curled it upward and then downward to keep it flowing to the west.

The water was dark but the luminous organisms in it were making it glow dark-varied colors. Some green, mostly red.

Some of the creatures had the silhouette of humans, both male and female, swimming in swirls above the transparent cold dome.

Imagining the life or death struggle he could undergo in the jaws of some of the giant glowing creatures, Max tightened and squeezed the furs in his palms. He traveled on Armless for about 6.6Km through the water for four minutes. As time passed, the amazing tunnel became thinner and narrowed until Armless slowly came to a stop.

Shifting back, "How was the ride?" Armless asked friendly.

"This, this place is cool." Max retorted, his hands on his head. "Why are we stopping?" He looked at a glowing shark which came with all its navigation speed aiming its widened jaw to swallow him, alas only to be jerked upwards by the force and then downward to the west.

'Hard luck, keep trying, loser.'

Yes, it seemed like the tunnel could drag and throw at the other side any organism that headed to it with some force.

Armless asked something Max didn't expect to hear: "Remember the Blue Force Robert?" She read Max's slight fright from A-Z and almost laughed. She sometimes loved seeing men frightening in hopeless moments.

Max scoffed sarcastically at the question and pretended to say, "The bald shit guy?" as if he wasn't scared of Robert.

Armless nodded.
