What Have You Done?

The world stopped spinning for Fleur the moment Calixto sat her in his lap and he tilted her head to the side and pressed a kiss on the side of her neck. She was waiting for that sharp pain accompanied by the tingling sensation of his lips sucking her broken skin—but her neck just got numb waiting but nothing happened except for the bump on his pants, hitting her ass cheek and she could not help but blush.

She wasn't that naive anymore to not know what the hard thing in his pants was. She shut her eyes tightly and did a breathing exercise that her mother taught her since she was a child. Everyone in the family needs to know how to do the breathing exercise that hid their thoughts from the probing of their masters. It was their only way to protect themselves. Her mother insisted that keeping their thoughts locked from their masters was the only way for them to survive.

And right now, she badly needed to protect her thoughts! She didn't want Calixto to know what was running in her head. It would be shameful! And she had a feeling that she would never have the face to be with him again if he would find out what she thought every time she would sit in his lap while he fed.

"Young Master," she whispered in a shaky voice. Calixto had his arms around her body and his mouth had been pressed on her skin but he wasn't biting her. If she were presumptuous she would say that he was just having fun burying his face on the crook of her neck. It wasn't the first time that he did it and a pang of guilt hit her heart when she remembered what Calixto's father asked her to drink before she came to feed him.

"Hmm," he mumbled lazily, nuzzling her neck and smiling when he felt goosebumps rise on Fleur's pale skin. "You should go out sometimes and get some sunshine."

"Young Master, I can't do something unless your father told me to," she said in a small voice while whispering an apology at the back of her head. She knew how sly her words were but with all the other night creatures that her family was serving, she liked Calixto the best. He was never rude and treated her gently.

Calixto also makes sure that after he fed he would give her a few drops of his blood. Something that was against the rules but he insisted on doing so to make sure that she would not faint because according to him, she was too pale and too thin.

"I know. We are the same, Fleur."

His warm breath and the way his fangs graze her skin made her roll her neck languidly and exhaled a soft long breath of contentment. She shifted her butt on her lap and swallowed hard when she felt the lump in his pants grow bigger.

"Can I call you, Fleur?"

"Yes, you may, Young Master," she replied in a hushed tone of voice. The nervousness she was feeling was long gone. She felt like she was in a boat, rocking in the middle of the dark sea, lulling to sleep with gentle waves every time Calixto's breath would fan her damp skin whenever he would open his mouth. She could already feel the effect of the NightShade in her system. She doesn't want to leave Calixto's lap. She doesn't want to hurt him for he was one of the good ones but her life and her whole family's lives were on the line.

They were captives in this castle no matter how nicely they were treated. They were nothing but fattening cows and their main purpose was just to feed these sickening vampires. Thus, she could not understand the fondness that she was feeling towards Calixto.

"Yes, Young Master. You can call me Fleur but please do so only in the privacy of this library. I'm scared of your father…" Her voice trailed softly, laded with innuendo. Another way of telling him of what was happening without putting herself and her family in danger in the cruel hands of Calixto's father.

Calixto pressed an open-mouth kiss on Fleur's skin. He had been trying to control himself into sinking his fangs on them for he wanted to prolong her stay. He doesn't want Fleur to leave yet.

He likes her but he cannot find the courage to tell her because every time he stares into her eyes, he forgets what he's going to say.

"Hmmm," she moaned, binding her body forward when Calixto kissed her neck one more time. "Calixto," she breathed his name bravely. The idea that it would be the last time that she would sit in Calixto's lap brought her courage that she never knew she had in her.

She gripped her skirt on her lap and breathed softly, settling back into Calixto's chest. "Calixto," she called his name again.

"Fleur, you're a temptation I wish I could fight for," he murmured as he pressed another kiss on the throbbing pulse on her neck, tearing her skin and gently sucked her blood. "I want you, Fleur. Not the way I'm supposed to want you. I need you…the way I need to hide away from the sun. Fleur, you're the death of me," he whispered in agony before he sunk his fangs deeper on her pale skin.

Fleur slumped on his arms the moment his fangs bit her and her warm blood gushed out of her broken artillery that was greedily sucked by Calixto's hungry mouth.

He started to warm up when Fleur's blood hit his veins. He hasn't reported it to his father yet but every time he drinks Fleur's blood, his body gets warm. Their bodies never felt warm. Their bodies were chilled, cold to touch—they were undead after all.

But Fleur's blood is different. Her blood can burn his body like he has a fever. The chill he felt with her in his lap had nothing to do with the coolness of his body. The chill that he felt brought shivers into his spine as his hand rubbed Fleur's arms, holding her bony fingers into his hands as he continued to suck her blood, licking her skin not letting single precious blood of hers ever go to waste.

"Young Master, drink more!" She begged. The way his mouth sucked her skin drove her to insanity. She forgot the breathing exercises that her mother taught her and her thoughts leaked out in the open for Calixto to read.

'No…no…he should not know. Never!' She screamed inside her head but she was too late.

Calixto stood up from the chair, pushing her off his lap. "What have you done?!"
