Episode 5

"Not even this window?" She glanced to the only glass window in the room. The idea of it sounded so unpleasing although she knew she was in danger.

"Yes. Unless you want to do that and sneak out but I already told you what would happen if you do so" he said to her to which her eyes widened. He left the room and closed the door.

Sun hee kept the door closed and glanced at the window. It was already shut. At that, she breathed a deep sigh of relief.

Slowly sitting on the bed, pensive, Sun hee was struggling with her thoughts. She was also having a hard time to understand Seok hoon. She didn't know who was he, why did he save her, whose castle was that, why there was none else around and what was going to happen now.

Joo Seok hoon was walking towards the Royal castle with Min joo. As they entered in the hall, Min joo said,

"I thought we were going to Ji woo?"

"Yeah we will" Seok hoon replied, going upstairs. "Before that, I have some work with brother"

"As he reached upstairs, he saw Seung gi walking towards him. Joo Seung gi was the older among all the sons of Joo Dan tae. He was tall with foxy eyes, sharp ears and long, golden hair shaped like the waves of the ocean. Min joo greeted Seung gi to which he bowed his head slightly.

"Seok hoon" he spoke, his voice gentle. "I was wondering why didn't you come to me last night?" With that, Seok hoon smiled nervously.

"And where is that human girl? Father was asking me. She isn't in the Malevolent Manor yet, why?"

As Seung gi said that, Min joo looked at Seok hoon in shock. He remembered, Seok hoon took Sun hee with him and he was to send her to the Malevolent Manor but knowing that Seok hoon didn't even visit the Royal Castle last night, he was shocked. He thought, where else did he take her if not the Malevolent Manor?

Seok hoon could sense Min joo staring at him in surprise but he ignored.

"I'm sorry brother. First I asked you, I wanted to catch that human being and then I messed up. For the first time, I was given one task and I couldn't do it right. She ran away to where she came from" Hearing Seok hoon's explanation, Min joo was astonished and perplexed as to why Seok hoon is lying.

"Ran away? How is that even possible?" Seung gi frowned at that in disbelief. He was sure no human could escape a Vampire's attack as vampires were gifted with supernatural powers which humans couldn't even match to, let alone defeat and escape.

He was more surprised because how could she escape from Seok hoon out of everyone when Seok hoon was one of those rare vampires who had various powers. Mostly all vampires would only have one special gift but Seok hoon was born with more than one gift and was one of those rare vampires who used to have various powers.

Seok hoon got that from his grandmother and in Blissvile he was the only vampire with various supernatural powers. Now that was another thing, he didn't even care about those powers and there were so many powers he didn't even know he had. But it still doesn't change the fact that it was impossible for anyone to escape from him. Be it a human or any other powerful creature.

"I was just messing with her. I was being unserious. It's totally my fault, I'm sorry" Seok hoon answered, lowering his gaze to which Seung gi shook his head.

Although it was a big problem that the human girl escaped and Seung gi knew Joo dan tae would be angry when he'd find out but both him and Seung gi loved Seok hoon too much to get angry at him.

"It's okay, Stop being sorry" he said, patting him on the shoulder. "It's not your fault" With that, Seok hoon gazed up at Seung gi's smiling face. He knew he just had to put up a little act and his brother would melt right away.

"By the way, Are you sure she escaped to where she came from or she is still somewhere in Blissvile?" That question from Seung gi made Seok hoon nervous.

"No no! She ran away to where she came from. I'm sure" Seung gi hummed at that, nodding his head.

"Anyways. I'll send the guards in her search for my satisfaction" Seung gi said to which Seok hoon thought it was fine if he wanted to do that.

"So, you'll handle father, right?" He asked, quirking a brow. "I'd talk to him myself but I have to go somewhere right now" Seung gi laughed at that while shaking his head.

"It's okay, you can go. I'll talk to father" Seung gi knew his little brother wanted to escape the conversation with his father. Seok hoon smiled and left with Min joo.

Seung gi went to his father and told him what happened. Joo Dan tae didn't seem happy to hear it, instead he got really angry.

"What!?" He roared in anger. "She escaped?" Seung gi lowered his head.

"Father, you know Seok hoon. He must've hadn't taken it seriously"

"Why did you send Seok hoon there in the first place?" He voiced icily, frowning his brows.

"I'm sorry, father. He kept telling me that he wanted to catch that human so I couldn't deny him. You know, I can't deny him to anything." Joo Dan tae closed his eyes for a few moments, taking a deep breath to reel his temper and calm his mind although he was losing it.

He wanted to keep Seok hoon away even from the shadows of humans because he loved him a lot. He was of thought that humans when in their right mind could fool people, manipulate them and Seok hoon didn't know much about them. He knew nothing about them, He was angry at Seung gi for sending Seok hoon there and how that human girl escaped was adding more to his anger.

Now that she escaped" he spoke, his gaze reflective. "She will go and tell everyone how easy it is to escape from Blissvile. Then, they'll start coming here again and take us as a joke. All these years of us filling them with terror so that they fear us and never look at Blissvile will go under water"

"I'm sorry, father. I was wrong for sending Seok hoon there. But he wasn't serious or else she wouldn't escape. He was just messing with her." With that, Joo dan tae frowned and a flash of anger crossed his face as he gazed at Seung gi.

"What? What do you mean by messing with her?" Hearing that, Seung gi realized he angered his father even more.

"Seok hoon is not allowed to interact with humans!" His voice grew louder. "None of us is allowed to interact with them. How can he forget the rules?"

"But father, Seok hoon wouldn't listen. I even told him he shouldn't go" With that, Seung gi sighed.

"Anyways. Let it go now. I won't let this happen again. I won't let him go anywhere near humans."

Joo dan tae let out a sigh, shutting his eyes for a few moments. He cared about Seok hoon and loved him a lot to get angry at him or question him. Seok hoon broke the rule of not interacting with humans. The only interactions allowed when they were hypnotized and they could only order them the way you do with your slaves.

Joo Dan tae had always given punishment to anyone who'd break off the rules but now it was his own son so he couldn't do anything especially because it was Seok hoon.

"Send more guards to the forest" he commanded. "Any human who will dare enter Blissvile, will be directly killed now. From now on, there are no more restrictions on drinking human blood" Seung gi bowed.

Meanwhile,

"What?!" Min joo yelled, entering in Seok hoon's castle after he told him everything.

"She's here? You lied to your brother and your father?! The king?!" He threw his hands in the air. "You're father must've been really angry. He's definitely gonna kill me if he finds out that I know about this. Oh no! My time is over" he said, sitting on the sofa.

"Stop being so dramatic" Seok hoon said, sitting beside him, still thinking that it wasn't a big deal. With that, Min Joo turned his face to the right, staring at Seok hoon.

"Are you serious? I'm being dramatic? You broke the rules! We're not allowed to interact with humans. Why the hell did you bring her here?! What are you even trying to do?"

"I don't know. I was just curious to know why they come here and everything. I just wanted to talk to her but at that time, I had thought later on. I'll send her to the Malevolent Manor" For him, it was just an experiment he wanted to do it for fun. Min joo rubbed his head on his forehead at that.
