The Visible scars

But one day the school called and said he had gotten into trouble with some of his classmates . After I got the matter soughted out, I scolded him . I scolded him for causing trouble . He just nodded his head . He didn't dare to look at me in the eyes . But one day I saw this live video streaming on the internet . Someone was confessing their feelings to a guy . I recognized that it was my son .I was happy at first but I wondered why the person was filming them . I didn't give it much of a thought at first . But slowly I realized what they were doing . It was a private account but somehow I got access to it . My son just accepted his feelings and smiled happily . He always said he had a crush on this one guy in his class . But his smile had faded away when all his classmates came out laughing at him . They tormented him so bad . I felt like the world was ending . They punched him , kicked him and spat at him . I quickly ran out the room and grabbed the car keys . I got in and drove as fast as I could . I know I couldn't get there in time but I prayed to god that I would . "

At school :

Lee jaewon felt so tormented and didn't know what to do . The first person that came to his mind was his mom . He just held the locket his mom had given to him in his 16th birthday . Tears dropped down his pale face . He stood up and the wind hit his face . Making the scars visible on his face . His classmates were still filming him and they guy who confessed to him just looked away .his name was lee jongseob. " cry all you want . You're such a loser . You thought he liked you ? They were all in the schools rooftop . The sky was clear and the door was locked so no one could come in . There were chairs and some seniors were sitting on them . Some didn't give a shit of what was going on . Ciggerates were scattered on the floor. Jaewon spotted an empty chair and just stood on top of it . Catching everyone's attention .

" what are you doing ? You're such an attention seeker . Come back down you still have some beatings left . " jaewon smirked . That made his classmates furious . Jongseob was going to reach for him but his friends stopped him . They all froze including jongseob. Jaewon stood at the edge of the rooftop . He smiled with tears . " I just wanted to be happy and wanted everything to work out for me . But it never worked out . " " what the hell are you trying to do ? Such an attention seeker . Go ahead and die if you really want to . Do you even have the courage to do it ? Hahaha." His classmates laughed at him . Jongseob just avoided eye contact with jaewon the whole time .Jongseob and jaewon were friends through out middle and high school . He was the only one that understood him .

Jongseob just stared at him . Half shocked and half apologetic . Tears formed in his eyes as if he never meant to do any of it . " if he dies , you won't get any of the money and your mom will probably die ." A senior whispers into jongseobs ears . Jongseobs eye started watering . He quickly wiped his tears without anyone noticing and looks at his friend standing at the edge of the rooftop . " just come down . Don't make a scene jaewonah." " jaeownah? Why are you trying to sweet talk me ? Stop calling me in that way . You're the one who's a loser . But I feel like I'm a loser too for believing in you and for believing that you had actual feelings for me . You're no different from these people." " lee jaewon! Stop being such a coward and come down now ! I can explain everything right now! " " explain ? Explain what ? Try making up excuses ? It's all useless ! I hope you all never have a happy life . You motherfuckers! " he lets his body fall but gets pulled back by jongseob . They both hit the ground . " don't - please don't do this . " he buries his face on the crook of his neck . All his classmates flee away but the guy who was going to pay him just stands in front of them with his arms crossed . "Looks like at the end both of you are cowards . " saying that he grabs jongseobs collar . " you should've let him fall . Are you actually interested in him ?Weren't you going to pay for your moms treatment ? Sorry but since the plan failed I can't pay you . " "Oh wow . Looks like your friend really has a death wish . " jongseob turns around to see jaewon standing at the edge . " I don't want to be a burden to anyone . But I feel like I am . Jongseob ,tell my mom I love her . " he lets his body fall but he feels someone pull his hand . Jongseob starts sweating . " p-please don't do this . You were never a burden to me . I mean it . Auntie wouldn't want this either . We both love you ! You know that ! Please ! Don't - don't do it !" He struggles to hold jaewons hand . But he couldn't hold his hand for long . Jaewon falls but jongseob doesn't let his hand drift apart from jaewons hand either. He holds on to him tight . Jaewon closes his eyes but he feels someone embracing him . And then darkness took over his eyes .

" when I reached his school I saw two figures falling from the rooftop . I remembered what I saw from the video so I rushed to see what had happened and who had fallen . I recognized them both . It was my son and lee jongseob. His best friend . " josh just sniffs . " but why did his best friend do such a thing mom ?" " both of them were best friends . They both loved each other dearly . But jongseobs mom had cancer and jongseob didn't have enough money to treat her cancer . Then one day a senior from his school told him he'd pay him to do something for him . He would pay him a million won . And since he was desperate for money he immediately agreed . He had no idea that the target was his friend . He couldn't back down from it because the guy who was gonna pay him was the principals son and if he denied or backed down from it then he would've gotten expelled with my son . So he agreed and that's when it all happened . They both had feelings for each other . When he was confessing to him it was a real confession but it didn't feel good for him . He felt that it was only for the money but half of him felt that it really was his real feelings for him . He tried to save my son and didn't want to let go . So he - he sacrificed himself to save my son . " " so what happened to his mom and your son?" " well I worked my ass off and paid for her treatment . But she passed away two years ago .And about my son , he didn't survive either . The fall didn't affect him that much but later on when he woke up he tried to look for his jongseob but after finding out that jongseob had died that very day , he regretted what he had done . He told him self that he could've dropped out with jongseob. And worked part time to pay for jongseobs moms treatment . When he visited his funeral he couldn't control his emotions at all . And just starts exercising in order to warm himself up . It doesn't work but when he starts doing push ups he hears a big honk from behind him . He immediately gets up and looks behind him . " mom!!" He runs to the car with his phone . She opens the car for him and smacks him on the head . " why aren't you wearing a jacket ? You'll catch a cold !and why are you sweating ???" " mom I don't need the jacket . I just exercised so I'm sweating . Don't worry ." Saying that he gets in and closes the door of the car . She sighs and gets in too . She starts driving . " ah mom . Turn the AC on please ." " since you're sweating like crazy .... Ok." She turns it on and passes a towel to him .

" thanks .hihi." He just wipes him self . He grabs onto the car fridge . Mostly rich people had fridges . And the car they had was a Lamborghini and they even had a Ferrari. And other expensive cars too . Of course because they're crazy rich 🤑 .

" you seriously are gonna catch a cold son .you have to go to school though .no absences ok?" " ok mom . I won't be absent . And I'm strong enough . I won't catch a cold . I promise ." His mom just nods . He takes takes out a cold water bottle with freezing water out of the fridge . He gulps it down and finishes all the water and again takes out an ice cream and finishes that too . He wipes his mouth with a tissue and lays back in the car seat . Suddenly he remembers something . " ah mom !" Mrs lee stops the car . " my god ! What happened son ?" She stops while putting a hand on her chest , certainly terrified. " ah mom . I forgot to ask you about my school trip ." Well his mom wasn't that angry at him for shouting like that because there weren't that many cars because it was early in the morning. " ahh you have a school trip ? You need money or an approval ?" " money for the trip . We're gonna watch a movie so I need money for the food . The teacher is gonna pay for the tickets ." " ah ok . Take my credit card . Use it as you wish ." Josh just frowns at it but just accepts it . " you shouldn't spoil me like this mom " " I'm not spoiling you . You've never disobeyed me so how are you spoilt. Giving allowance or a credit card doesn't mean your spoilt . Use it as you wish . " Mrs lee just pats his head and continues to drive . They reach home and he goes back home . He limps because of the beatings he got . Thank god his mom didn't notice . She then makes him egg and bread . " mom I'm not hungry . And I feel like if I eat I'll throw up ." " really ? Then don't eat . Just eat as much in the movies today then ." " okay mom love you ." He goes to the bathroom to take a shower . But the hot water wouldn't come . He didn't want to trouble his mom so he just takes a cold shower . He comes out of the shower shivering . He plops down on his big bed . He lived in a penthouse alone but his mom would come live with him sometime . He loved having his moms company .

He then dries his hair . His mom didn't notice his bruises on his face and the bruises on his forehead was covered by his hair. He styles his hair and does his skincare . He had delicate skin so even a slap would make a stain on his face . He wears a bandage on his neck since his dad had punched him on his neck too . And again he wears a bandage on the side of his forehead . Then he also bandages his hand again because the cuts were burning the blood was dripping again . The cuts were caused because of the shards of glasses back at jeongwoos house . His head started hurting and he grabbed his head and whimpered quietly . He then drank water and he quickly pickes an outfit . He picks a stylish outfit.Mrs lee dropped him to school . Everyone's jaw dropped . Of course because of his looks . Then jeongwoo arrived . He didn't look that bad either. " ohhhh park jeongwoo . You don't look that bad ayyy." Jeongwoo just ignores his classmates Jeongwoo spots josh . Josh looked quite pale but everyone thought that he always looked like that so no one really minded . The teacher walks in and tells everyone to line up and go in the bus .
