Goodbye

The next day Jeongwoo and josh get ready for school and head out . The first lesson was maths . Jeongwoo fell asleep and after the lesson josh smacks jeongwoo lightly with a book . Jeongwoo quickly gets up and looks back . He smirks and pinches Josh's cheek . The girls just look with awe . Then one girl says " you guys are so cute together ! Such cute friendship !" Josh just smiles but when they hear the last line they both turn away . School ends and like that they head to a kimbap store .After that they both head back .

The next day jeongwoo gets a call in the morning . " dad what's up ?" Jeongwoo says picking up the call and rubs his eyes . " son , are you staying with josh ?" Jeongwoo just replies saying " mhm" his dad then sighs . " son, I have business in London so we have to move to London ." Jeongwoo just sighs . " dad I can't leave Josh . We promised to complete high school together ." Jeongwoo says pleading . " I know son but I want to take over the business and I know you can do it more better than me . " dad . When are we even leaving ?" " tonight at 10:00 . We can't miss the flight ." Jeongwoo just replies " mhm" he massages his temples and turns back . The moment he does he stutters . " j-josh ?" Josh just stares at him with sadness in his eyes . Jeongwoo just crouches down and covers his face . But then he feels someone embracing . He slowly looks up and sees josh smiling at him . " don't feel bad jeongwoo . Remember that I'll always be there for you . I'll drop you later ?" Hearing what josh said to him tears drop from his eyes . Josh wipes them and ruffles Jeongwoos hair. " come get up now ." He helps jeongwoo get up ." Jeongwoo just hugs him again and josh pats his back comforting him . " I just can't -" josh cuts him off saying " I'm not going anywhere so you don't have to worry about staying apart just for a year or two . When you're older you can come by your own right ?" Jeongwoo just smiles and nods . He quickly wipes his tears . " then we'll meet when we go to university right ?" Josh just giggles . " yes yes . Now enough with these questions . Let's go and get ready for school ."suddenly Josh's phone rings . He looks at the caller id and smiles . " oh it's mom .hey mom !"josh says happily . " hey son . Just wanted to remind you that there's an education strike .so no school today for you guys ." Hearing that josh just squeals . " oh really ?? Okay okay mom . Yeah call u later !" Josh happily ends the call and jumps on jeongwoo . Jeongwoo widens his eyes . " what's with the excitement josh ?" He says with half curiousity . " no school ." Josh says smirking . " really?!!!" Jeongwoo then gives Josh a small peck .And josh gets off him and slowly fixes jeongwoos hair . " so what are we going to do today ?" Jeongwoo just puts his arm around Jeongwoos shoulder. " karaoke ? And some fried chicken ." Jeongwoo says playing with his hair . Josh nods happily. They both get fresh and change their clothes . They both then cycle till Han river . They looked down on the river . Josh looks down slightly but he somehow also fears of height . After looking down flashbacks of him trying to jump came into his mind . His ears rang endlessly and his heart started to beat faster than ever . It felt like his heart was being stabbed by someone. He stumbles back and holds his head in his hands . Jeongwoo was just observing him but when he noticed something was wrong he rushed to him and made him turn to him . " hey ! What's wrong ? Josh ?" Jeongwoo says with a concerned tone . Josh starts breathing heavily . " h-hard to bre-breath." Jeongwoo undertands and just hugs him . Josh calms down and jeongwoo makes him sit on the bench and buys him ice water . " feeling better ?" Jeongwoo says while playing with Josh's hair . " mhm thanks" josh says while leaning his head on Jeongwoos shoulder . They both go to the arcade and play games . Jeongwoo wins a lot of games and gives all the gifts he won to josh . Josh and jeongwoo head back and he helps jeongwoo pack . " here take these ." He says while passing some energy powder ." Jeongwoo takes them and stuffs them in his bag . " thanks . I'll miss you ." Saying that he hugs him again and both of them call the driver and go to the airport . They reach the airport and Jeongwoos dad and mom are there waiting for him . They wave at him . Even Kitae and Mrs lee were there . They had some gifts in their hands . " Hi Mrs lee . And officer kitae." He says bowing . " here these are gifts from us ." They both give the gifts and after some time he turns around to look at Josh . Tears just start flowing. Josh wipes them and hugs him while patting his hair . " I'll be fine . Don't worry ." Jeongwoo pulls out and nods . And then he takes something out of his pocket , it was a locket . " here." Saying that he gives josh the locket and ruffles his hair . They both bid goodbyes and josh just stares at the locket . He wears it and just cherishes it for a long time .

Josh the next day just wakes up and reaches out his hands . " jeongwoo you should wake up ." Saying that he pats the side next to him half asleep . But then when he wakes up realization hits him . Jeongwoo wouldn't be there with him for more than a year . Tears just dropped and he gave out muffled cries while covering his mouth . " jeongwoo I hope you're doing okay ." Saying that he walks to the fridge and takes out ice water and gulps it down . He sighs and looks at the time . His head was throbbing again . He just drinks more ice water to calm himself down . But it still doesn't work . But thank for it was a weekend otherwise he'd miss school . He closes the fridge and walks back to the room and takes out the first aid and grabs his medicine from it . He takes some water and gulps the medicine down with it . He sighs heavily and starts to make breakfast . He takes the egg and bread out of the fridge . He also takes some vegetables out to make for lunch . Josh starts to cut the vegetables . He was pretty skilled because jeongwoo taught him . He spaces out and accidentally cuts a bit of his skin. " ouchhh f**k !" he quickly sucks on his finger and washes it gently .
