A Boss

SHORE

Debris of destroyed androids is floating on the water surface being drawn and tossed by its current.

"Alpha 6 this is Alpha 5; do you have a visual?"

"Affirmative Alpha 5, I do have a visual"

"Are there any other androids emerging towards the shore?"

"Negative Alpha 5 coast is clear" A sudden beep alarms him "Erm...hold on a minute I think I'm getting something but it's only one and it's a little bit different from the others. I'm engaging the target now."

Alpha 6 opens fire into the clear blue water sending several splashes around. He soon disengages and hovers above the area. "These guys ain't that tough" he whispers'

"This is alpha 6, the target has been extermi…" He moves out of the way as a rocket flies from the water towards him but it takes off the tail of the chopper before he could complete the manoeuvre.

"Mayday, mayday, mayday, this…" Another rocket flies straight into the chopper, tearing it apart. The debris comes crashing into the water with a big splash. All the choppers around open fire at the spot the missile emerged from. Heat seeker missiles emerge from the water toward all the choppers and jets airborne, completely wiping them all out.

Rex's location

"What was that just now?"

"Boss all air strikes have been taken out by missiles" Gideon replies.

"Got a visual?"

"Yeah, sending the feed to your HUD now"

It is displayed in his HUD. An 8 feet tall android emerges from the water dragging a rocket launcher along with it. It takes out a military vehicle heading towards the shore and drops the launcher.

"Gid, do you copy?"

"Yeah"

"Get the others to its location, I would join them in a moment"

"Roger".

Tawny Owl and Death Stalker's location

Tawny Owl put's out her hand to Death Stalker who is on the ground and pulls him.

"That was a close one." she mentions

"Yeah, who thought they would rush out like"

"Yeah, think this is all for now?"

"Maybe"

"I wonder how long it would take the government to repair all these damages"

"It would definitely take some time. I just hope we don't get the blame for all this"

"Yeah, me too"

"Tawny owl, Death Stalker do you read?"

"Yes, we read you"

"Head towards the shore, south of Levi Avenue. Silent Samurai and Hammer Fist are already on their way there. You gotta get there fast"

"More androids?"

"Worse...took out multiple choppers. Now hurry"

He turns to look at Tawny Owl and both begin to race there.

"If we are all headed in the same direction do you think it is some kind of big boss battle?" Tawny Owl asks.

"Per what he just said, I would assume so but either way I can tell it's going to be really intense since it requires us all at the same location"

"Yeah, let's hurry".

Levi Avenue

The two come face to face with the android who is already at Levi avenue. They stop as soon as they set eyes on it.

"Is that it?" Tawny Owl asks

"Looking at its size and how different it is from the others; I would say it is." Death Stalker replies. "Gid, is that…?"

"Yeah that's the one. It took out an entire strike team. You should be careful".

A sword pierces into the ground followed by Silent Samurai who rolls in and pulls it out then stands by Tawny Owl just as Hammer Fist swings across to Death Stalker's side almost falling upon landing.

"Wait, that's the big bad?" Hammer Fist questions.

"Looks like it" Silent Samurai replies.

"So this is a boss battle".

It aims and advances towards them.

"Great now it's aiming a rocket at us" Hammer Fist exclaims

"Then let's not give it a target, scatter" Death Stalker instructs.

"Not a chance" comes a voice from behind as a purple blur dashes past them and tosses several disc grenades towards the on coming rocket resulting in a sequence of explosions leaving behind a massive cloud of smoke. The purple blur emerges from the smoke cloud and lands a heavy punch on the android which sends it rolling and crashing into the ground.

The purple blur rushes back to the others and stops in front of them. It is non other than Rex.

"That thing is really tough. We don't want to prolong this fight. It would only increase the number of casualties and damage to property so let's finish this quickly. Let's go".

They begin to run towards the android who is already moving towards them. Rex dashes ahead leaving trails of purple mixed with red and lands a punch on its hard chest pushing it back and rapidly pounds it like an electronic battering ram set into motion. The attack keeps pushing it backwards but as Rex jumps to strike it in the head it quickly chokes and slams him down. Holding him by the leg, it hurls him through a window of a nearby building into a pillar sending several cracks into it.

"Hey big guy I'm your opponent" Death Stalker barks and slashes toward it with his swords but it blocks him with blades attached to the side of its arms. Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! He follows up with more slashes but it counters them and CLANG! it launches a rotating slash attack which he parries but is sent sliding a few paces backwards. Silent Samurai launches himself off Death Stalker's back and slashes at its chest as well but is sent flying back with a push kick. He crashes into Death Stalker and they both drop to the ground.

"Is this one mute or something?" Silent Samurai asks

"How am I supposed to know. Get off me you are too heavy"

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Tawny Owl races towards it firing without cease with Hammer Fist right behind. It moves towards her as the bullets only create dents on it but she dives through its legs and with the help of Silent Samurai who is lying by, thug at its legs causing it to fall forward. Hammer Fist attacks with two roundhouse kicks and an axe kick to the back of the head, burying its face in the ground.

It bounces back up with explosive force scattering those around it. It grabs Hammer Fist and smashes him to the floor. He coughs up blood and as if that isn't enough, it is about to pound him into the ground with its fists however Rex quickly moves out and shoulders it into a wall.

It goes right through the wall and crashes into a pile of chairs. Its left-hand falls off revealing a gun barrel. It springs up and begins to spray the entire place with bullets. Rex and Tawny Owl dive into a building to avoid the torrent. Silent Samurai and Death Stalker both hide behind a car on a side of the road and Hammer Fist manages to hide behind another.

A group of soldiers approach as it gets out of the building and begin shooting at it. It splatters them around like water balloons against sharp rocky surfaces. Death Stalker comes out, jumps off the car he is hiding behind and takes off half of its face with exploding shurikens and ducks behind another car. It turns and sprays at the car. Death Stalker manages to get away before it explodes but is sent flying into a wall by the shockwave of the explosion.

Rex jumps out and runs towards it as it runs out of ammo. It moves in an instant as if awaiting its prey and hits him in the tummy with the gun barrel sending several cracks into his armor then strikes his back sending him down. Tawny Owl follows with a grenade which it hits back towards her. She dives out of the way as it explodes into the building. Hammer Fist rushes out of hiding and attacks with a punch which it catches and flings him towards Tawny Owl who just got back to her feet. They drop to the ground with a loud thud. It extends a blade from its arm and walks towards Death Stalker who is just regaining consciousness and stabs towards his chest.
