If you are given something that others don't have like money, talent, power, what would you do with it?

Money~

As long as you have money, you can do lots of things, you can have many things, like buying expensive houses, cars, necessities. You can even build a building as high as the statue of liberty(93meters). Money is mighty.

Talent~

Money can't buy talent, maybe in singing,dancing,playing sports or even games which is not rare nowadays.

What about power?

What is power?

Is it the physical strength or force exerted by the muscles?

Is it the authority to command tens of thousands of soldiers/troops at once?

Or is it something like lasers comin' out from your eyes?

If these are the definition of "power", then what is "True Power"?

I used to think that way when I was in my late teens where the world is still at it's peace.

Not until the Abbysal Towers appear around the world.

Abbysal Towers appeared first on October 2025 and abducted millions of people.

The first tower was located on the Israel.

The tower would appear first with earthquake with a magnitude of 4, not that strong vibration but the roads would get some cracks, then a very high pitched sound can be heard that can make glasses shatter and your ears bleed if you don't cover it with your hands.

Then, a tower with 2 miles(3.219km) high can be seen with the naked eye.

There are 28 towers around the world, and magically abducted 150 thousand humans per tower.

So about 4.2 millions were kidnapped by the tower in just a span of 6 days.

The humans were quite curious as to what is inside the tower, scientists did a bit of research about the tower but,

little did they know that after 3 days the towers stopped appearing, they'd witness the world's destruction.

Countless black crack appeared in the sky, and spawned unknown and unseen creatures before.

Creatures you've only seen in the movies or the books you've read, made it's appearance at the same time all over the world.

There are tiny and gigantic of these things and they're not friendly. They kill,eat, destroy, and now rule the Earth.

Humans use their modern weapons to defend

but are only effective to some monsters.

Modern weapons are completely useless to hard-skinned/scaled monsters.

They even resort to nuclear bomb but, it's not very effective.

The human population has been reduced to one-third (⅓), means that more than half of the humanity were erased and that's just within two days.

Hide, the only thing humans can do in the midst of it all.

5 days after the monsters appeared, the divine beings 'Spirits' made contracts with a few number of chosen humans and after contract has been made, a Stigma of the spirit would appear on any parts of the contractors body. And that Stigma gave them the ability to defeat and kill monsters.

They were called 'Stigma User's'.

Stigma users can exert powers beyond belief.

they can carry a cargo with just one hand,

can pull a train with just one finger,

magically create fire out of thin air, manipulate electricity,

telekinesis,

and many more.

Stigma users use these abilities to get revenge to the monsters and retrieve what is stolen from them.
