"What are you two doing here?" Noelle asked the two.
"We came to train, so you were here to train too," Asta smiled.
"Yeak," Noelle said.
"Let's all train together then! if you get out of control like before, I can stop you. And Ozul you should train too!" Asta said to the two.
"Oh yeah, Ozul, how come you don't use your grimoire?" Noelle asked Ozul as she never saw him use it.
"Huh? What do I need it for?" Ozul asked since he had never grown up with any education he didn't know that his grimoire we extremely powerful.
"Huh," Both Asta and Noelle said in shock.
"Wha?! So you haven't used your grimoire at all this entire time?!" Asta exclaimed making Ozul shake his head no.
'He's been that powerful without even using his grimoire...' Asta thought as he looked at Ozul.
"Grimoires are special books made of mana that greatly enhances your magical capabilities, so you can use more complex magic, they have all your written records for your spells that you can use. You probably don't have many pages filled since beginners have to grow and develop making their grimoires do the same, and new magic spells will get inscribed into your book filling the blank pages,"
"And you have an extremely powerful and very rare grimoire, so you need to use it," Noelle told Ozul.
"Really?" Ozul asked the two making them both shake their heads up and down fast.
'I see, I'll train my spells while you guys do whatever you were saying," Ozul said making them nod in agreement.
Noelle and Asta stayed near the ocean as Noelle began her spell once again while Asta did some physical training and was ready for when he had to help Noelle out.
Ozul went more to the sand and sat cross-legged, with his four-leaf clover grimoire resting in his lap.
Its cover was jet black, embossed with intricate red patterns that seemed to pulse with life, almost as if the grimoire itself was breathing. The edges of the pages were tinged with a faint, smoky aura, whispering of the immense power contained within.
Ozul opened the book, to see four filled pages in the book, Ozul scanned the ancient script on the pages, wanting to know what they were trying to say.
As he concentrated, the symbols on the pages shifted, translating themselves into something Ozul could understand. His focus sharpened as he looked at his first page to see his first spell
Shadowflame Soldiers
The spell was designed for him to summon even more and stronger black flame soldiers than what he could do before.
Ozul decided to put the spell to the test. standing up, Ozul extended his hand, channeling his magic into the space before him
"Black Flame Magic: ShadowFlame Soldiers"
Ozul yelled out.
Shadows around him began to twist and churn, rising from the sand as flickers of black flame erupted around them.
*FSSSHHHH
around fifteen soldiers were created from his flames.
Ozul immediately saw the difference between not using his grimoire and using his grimoire extremely fast.
Satisfied, Ozul stopped his spell making the soldiers dissipate, he then flipped through his grimoire again, discovering another spell
Infernal Vortex
Thus spell summoned a swirling column of black flames, capable of engulfing anything in its path.
"Black Flame Magic: Infernal Vortex"
Concentrating, Ozul unleashed the vortex in front of him, watching as the spiraling flames roared to life. The energy was overwhelming making both Asta and Noelle look toward him watching the huge flames of blackness.
Ozul felt a deep connection to it, controlling the destructive force with precision.
As his spell finished Asta ran over to him.
"Awesome!!" Asta exclaimed.
'He's so strong!!' Noelle thought looking at him and her determination to control her magic even stronger.
"See! How much stronger you are when you use your grimoire?!" Asta asked making Ozul nod his head.
Asta went back over to Noelle fired up after watching Ozul.
"Alright, let's do this Noelle!!" Asta exclaimed.
Ozul went back to his grimoire to practice.
"Huh?" Ozul voiced as he flipped his bag to see a whole different section in his grimoire.
Spirit Magic
Ozul's heart raced as he read the text and he discovered something new, Rai, his lightning spirit, was also able to grow even more powerful with him, as he found two pages with spells.
"If I can grow and get more spells, and if Rai has a section in my grimoire that means he can get even stronger as well..." Ozul said lowly to himself as he looked at the first page of Rai's magic.
Determined to explore this newfound power, Ozul closed his eyes and reached out to Rai. The air around him crackled with energy as the lightning spirit responded to his call.
*KRRRKKK
A surge of power coursed through him as Rai materialized before him, It was from a small fairy with red wings and black clothing.
"Rai," Ozul whispered, feeling the connection between them deepen even more.
"Let's see what we can do,"
Rai nodded his head before circling Ozul, It's lightning-infused energy merging with his own. The grimoire floated beside him, Its page turning once more, revealing spells specifically designed to harness the power of a spirit.
Ozul took out his sword seeing that's what the spell needed.
He began to practice these two new spells, starting with
"Spirit Magic: Stormbound Blade!"
Rai's lightning fused with the flames on his sword, creating a weapon that crackles with energy. With a swift motion, Ozul swung the blade, unleashing a devastating arc of fiery lightning that scorched the ground in front of him.
*FSSSHHH
*KKRRRKKK
Finally, he attempted his last spell in his grimoire, a spell that pushed both his and Rai's powers to their limits for now.
"Spirit Magic: Lightning Inferno!"
*FSSSHHHH
*KRRRRKKK
The air around him became electrified as he summoned a massive wave of red lightning that swept across the beach.
*KRRRKKKK
*WOOOSHH
The sheer power of the spell was awe-inspiring, and Ozul knew that with Rai, and his grimoire by his side, his magic had reached an entirely new level.
As the storm subsided and the lightning faded, Ozul stood amid the smoldering sand, his grimoire hovering beside him. He looked at Rai, who returned by his side, his energy still crackling with life
"With you by my side Rai, I'll become the strongest," Ozul said, his voice filled with newfound determination.
Rai smiled as he sat on his shoulder.
*******
Since Ozul finished practicing he headed over to Asta and Noelle who were still at it,
Ozul went to sit on a rock that was right next to them.
"hm?" Asta said as he looked up to the sky making Noelle, Ozul, and Rai look up as well.
"What?" Noelle asked looking.
"I hear something."
"Huh?" Ozul replied.
"Singing..." Asta said.
"Look!" Noelle said pointing to another big rock. The three walked over to where they heard the singing to find a girl singing, as water bubbles surrounded her.
