Chapter 1: The First Charge

Sen POV

Ah what a beautiful day. I said to myself. Hi, my name is Sen Kasugo, I am a college student who also lives alone in the famous city of Japan Tokyo. WHAT, you thought I lived in a big house with my parents and that I am also a laid back student who only plays games for fun. Welp, you sure are wrong about that, 'cause I live in a small apartment near my school and also study a lot. Well yeah, I also AM a gamer. My gamer name is Black battery. I chose that name well 'cause you don't see a lot of black batteries right? Anyway, like I said I love playing games especially the one called "League of Legends", I'm always playing that game with my friend Alex Serugaja. Ok, now the REAL story begins.

I brushed my teeth, made myself a breakfast, and went to school just like always. And when I come to school I always hear the famous scream.

"SEEEEN-SAAAAAN! ", That's Alex he always does that when I come to school.

"How are you, what up, you well, you forgot something!?", he asked without even catching a single breath.

"DUDE! Slow down, I'm not going to vanish." I said to him.

"*huff**huff*sorry*huff*I just*huff*heared for the new update!", he said to trying to catch some air.

"WHAT! What's it about?", I asked him nervously.

"It is about new potion that grant's you ability to become invisible and heals you for 250 health per second!" he said to me with visible excitement in his voice.

"SERIOUSLY!?" I asked very happily.

"But it costs 3000 golds...", he said with sadness in his eyes while scratching his head.

"Well obviously it is an OP item to have, why wouldn't be expensive", I said to him.

"Yeah I guess you're right", he said," hey do we have that test from math today?"

"Yup"I answered" did you remember what we learned?", I asked him curiously.

"Yeah man I did, I just...", a lot of boys were interrupting him with their screams," what is all that ruckus about?", he asked angrily.

And then we saw why were they making so much noise. The most beautiful girl in our school was walking in the hallway with her friends. Her name is Layla Sarunaija, the most famous female singer at our school who also plays the guitar and speaks 8 languages.

"She's so beautiful", I said to myself while glaring at her beautiful silver hair.

"Hey Sen-san?", Alex tried to snap me out of it.

"Hello anyone there I'm calling for Black battery!", He tried again but this time time he was poking at my head. After she left I turned back to Alex:" Sorry you were saying somethin'?"

"You seriously need to stop thinking about here every time she's passing the halls dude", he said to me with a serious yet joyful looking face.

"Yea man I know sorry", I said to him with a little embarrassment in my voice.

"We need to hurry the class is about to start, AND SO DOES OUR TEST!", he said to me.

"Alright good luck", I said to him and he replied with:"same dude bye".

And we went to our math classes. Yeah, we don't go to the same class but we have been friends since kindergarden and we still are. So we went to do our tests and the teacher said the same boring sentence like he always does:"Sit down students, today we will have math test so prepare your pens and I hope you learned something from the past classes".

At that moment one very familiar voice said:" Well sure, it doesn't look like Kasugo wasn't learning anything, he always has more time for books than his friends"everyone started laughing but I replied with:"Gee thanks Saruma-san, like you ever had more knowledge than me since the time you fell on your head from the stairs", and everyone started laughing again.

Saruma was pointing with his thumb from one side of the neck to the other:"Outside school you're dead meat"

"*gulp*I'm screwed!"I thought to myself 'cause Renji Saruma was much bigger and stronger than me and I knew that he would do wathever he says. I just chuckled and turned away, hoping that he will forget what he said.

After that teacher gave us our tests and said "Alright if you two are finished chatting then you can start finishing this tests",he said with serious look in his face.

After we finished our tests we went home, and I was going with Alex:"OK this is where we part ways, see ya tomorrow man", he said waving his hand,"See ya too dude", I replied.

After I said bye to him I turned around to see where I am going and I froze when I saw Saruma with his two other friends who waited for me. Full of fear for my life I just said:"H-hey S-S-Saruma-san. W-what are you doing here?" He looked at me and smiled:"Did you forget what I said in class?". In this moment I knew I was screwed. I tried to run away, but they were faster than me and they caught me. Two of his friends were holding me while he was preparing his fist and after that everything went black. After ten minutes or so I woke up finding myself knocked out near my apartment. I just got up and went back home. To my surprise, I saw someone familiar sitting on bench near the apartment I was living in. It was Layla, the girl that everyone in our school loves her for the song that she sings.

"H-hi Sarunaija-chan", I said to her nervously.

She replied with:"Oh hi. How do you know my name?".

"Well everyone in our school kinda does,yeah?", I said.

"Oh, yeah. So what's your name?", she asked.

"My name's Sen, Sen Kasugo", I answered.

"What happened to your eye?", she asked but with a little shock in her voice.

I told her that I was attacked by some bullies in my class but it wasn't that bad.

"How can you say that, of course it's bad, here let me help you", she got the first aid out of her bag and gave me a good treatment for my black eye, after that I didn't feel pain anymore.

"Wow how did you do that?" I asked her.

"It's a secret recipe for treating wounds that my grandma gave me", she said.

"Thanks, I really appreciate it", I replied to her with a smile.

" Sorry but it's very late I need to go, I swear I will make it up to you someday", I said and waved goodbye.

"Alright, see you soon", she replied with a smile.

When I got inside I sat down on my chair and thought for myself " OMG I just talked to Layla Sarunaija, and with any Layla Sarunaija but with THAT Layla Sarunaija, I can't believe it", after that I played a couple of games with Alex and we were playing against a player called "White Moon". I can surely say that this player wasn't being anything else that we were up against, the champion that this player was playing with was Riven and we couldn't even get her to fall. I barely even got her to 1HP. When the match was over everyone talked about the "White Moon". I told everyone that I almost got her to fall and that I got her to 1HP. After that Alex said in the chat "NO FREAKING WAY", "Why, what's wrong?", I asked,"No one could bring her down to 1260HP, you are the only one who got her under that number!" I was shocked, no one could've bring her under 1260HP except me. Alex told everyone that I almost got Riven to fall and everyone started talking about me. Wow I guess that I am very good at something else than fighting hehe.

Layla POV

"Hm Black battery huh, I guess I should be careful about him hehe".
