" What happened?"

"Ashton happened" she said after a while of calming down. She has stopped crying and was sitting on the bed.

"..."

"He's your brother, right?" she looked at him who looked at her with a blank expression on her face.

"Yeah,he was my brother,he died long ago but I don't know what chemistry happened that he is still alive " he stated. This whole Ashton thing was confusing him alot by now.

"He scared the hell out me " she had a horrified expression remembering how his grip on her wrist was so tight.

" Am sorry, I don't know what's happening right now" he apologized.

" So if he died ,what is he doing alive?" she was curious.

"If I told you that this is your second life would you believe me" it was finally time to let the cat out of the bag.

"Maybe"

"Ok then ,in your first life you died but you were given a chance to live again,you and your family and me"

"How did we die?" the thought of death horrified her to the core.

" You died back in Mexico at the vacation" now everything made sense the way he was always telling her to not go there ,the way he always seemed scared to go there , everything fell into place.

"So that's why you came to Mexico with us" he nodded.

"What when my mom said that they were being followed during their hike,did that happen before" she asked.

"No ,that didn't,you died on the first night at the place you didn't happen to see the following day, the reason they didn't die this time is because,my brother didn't hurt you"

"Am confused, which brother"

" I have to brothers, Ashton and Mike"

"So Mike was after us in the past life "

"yeah, he wanted my wealth ,that's why"
