Skylar's POV
I glared at Caden for the fifty seventh time before looking away. I didn't know how much time had passed since he had dragged me inside my own house - thinking that he could force me to calm down - and I personally didn't care about it.
How could I let him drag me into my own house?
"Come on, Skylar! It has been a whole damn hour." He looked exasperated by now. "Are you going to say something or not?"
I scrunched up my nose ever so slightly and refused to meet his gaze, crossing my arms over my chest and slumping down on the couch I was sitting on. Caden, on the other hand, had stopped pacing and was looking at me now, clearly not happy.
"I'm not going to talk." I stated plainly without giving him a single glance. But when I couldn't have helped it, I peeked at him from the corner of my eyes and saw him running both of his hands through his hair.
