Chapter 1- Nothing to Lose

"You are late again Yori. Hurry up you will miss your bus." "Yeah dad, it's my first time getting late." "Everyday the same excuse, everyday! When are you gonna grow up and do as we say." While Yori's dad is shouting at him, he is wearing his torn socks for school again. It was his first day at the Hibiya Highschool, atleast he could have bought a new pair of socks. "Focus on studies only, finish your lunch, I shouldn't find it half eaten when you come back or else I'll stop giving you food." Yori's mom yelled at him as he went to fetch the bus.

A regular day starts in Yori Sada's life, getting yelled by his parents. He feels weird if they don't scold him and his day gets incomplete. Still, Yori has his life smooth as he is just in the 6th grade. He finishes his homework late, is poor in studies and has already engaged in getting in a relationship. Isn't this an irony? How is his life smooth if he is literally poor at everything?

"I thought you are late at your first day, but it's good you made it on time. Just remember the basic rules, stay away from girls, complete your homeworks on time unlike your previous school and especially stay away from the Nagata gang, he is a known bully so you better watch out." Yoshimoto Daisuke instructs his best friend Yori as it's his first day. Daisuke lives near Yori's and they've been besties since 6 years. Daisuke loves his family and also is taken care a lot because of his out of hand older brother Yoshimoto Hiroshi. Daisuke is a topper of his class and it is one of the reasons why he is never bullied.

As Yori walks into the class, everyone stares at him as he is some kind of a creature who landed on earth from a planet out of our galaxy. It is clear from their faces that Yori is not welcomed here. 4 periods go on and Yori is already dreaming of going back to home, wasting his time on phone and then kissing his girlfriend. "I'll just go to her and this time kiss her neck! Then I'll move my hand slowly up from her....ouchh!!!" His wishes are all shot dead by the chalk as the teacher is glowering at him. "Stand up you idiot, repeat what I just explained everyone." "Sir...I" "Go stand outside and do not enter until the end of the period!" His teacher angrily took him out of the class while everyone was laughing at him and Daisuke felt sorrowful. The bell rings little later and it's the lunch period. Yori talking to himself for paying more attention to the classes gets pushed by the Nagata group, as expected. "Look who we have here guys, the warugaki! (brat)" Nagata holds his collar tightly but suddenly Yori's sensei approaches. "What's happening here y'all, I hope you're not fighting or something. Nagata, take you peeps along and go to your classes." And he leaves, becoming a day saver for Yori. "You kuso, doke! (you f**k, get out of my way)" What just happened! Yori's day was saved somehow and he was sweating.

Yori returns home, his lunch half finished and straight away goes upstairs in his room. He watches Youtube and plays game all day long as his parents are working and his sister Sada Aiko is in her college years. He spends his time like this so that he is able to meet his friends and his girlfriend asap. Although his relationship isn't going well, he has that attraction which he calls "love" and so he wants to be together with her until the very end. Let me just already tell you, Yori is totally stupid. He doesn't even know what love is and what all things couple do. He just goes to her, kisses her, and touches her, and so the girl wants. They have nothing to talk about, nothing to share and probably don't even know what to prioritise. His friends Ozaki Yasushi and Yoshimoto Daisuke are the only ones he got and both seem pretty unique. Ozaki Yasushi is 2 years older than the both and is a lot smarter as his father passed away a long time ago. He developed that unique personality and charming skills like singing and financial management that'll take him very far in his self life. Apart from Yori's girlfriend, which technically shouldn't even be called a girlfriend and his everyday stresses and problems, Yori's life seems pretty easy going and smooth and he has nothing to lose...yet.
